I came of rb classics and there was nothing wrong with them and planning to get them freshened up and put on my 135i daily I'm planning to get

The gc 2.0 pull a lot harder even though they spool a little slower.

Im still on a base tune and waiting on a revision

My mistake i sent the tuner the wrong logs and he takes a while to respond so will be waiting a little while longer for a revision

I've sent the right ones now but I guess I'm at the back of the line again

These can't be directly compared, totally different generations of turbos.

I can barely tell the spool difference between lites v1 and full gc v2. Frankly it might be all in my head. These things are sweet!

Well we had our 2nd dyno session today and these babies just destroyed anything we overlayed them against on 93.

These gc 2.0's are nuts.

Post some results in the next week or so once we finish tunning.

Nice! Care to share any brief results?

On spool they make more power on 93 than other turbos running e85

These are just preliminary findings so I dont want to release anything till everything is final and concrete

Here is a quick log from today running 93, very early in the tune and loads left in them but already surpassing all expectations. I can see good things on the horizon from these.

Awesome! Glad to see these kinds of results coming in so easily, really solidifies my decision to stick with twins instead of going single bottom mount.

I'm sorry if you already stated it but im at work and don't have much time to scroll right now, what's your end goal?

25 to 27 psi fuel quality dependant

Roughly around 500 to 550 hp on 93
How much boost was that datalog? I don't think I've ever seen 3000+ rail pressure at redline, lol. Those shotguns kick ass.

This Ikmos ecu is a royal pain to get the boost under control but we are getting there.

As I suspected our 93 is just crap and had to throw a bottle of octane booster into it and BAM what a difference, same flash same boost.

Still a fair bit of work to do.

Post some new stuff as soon as I get it.

So that is 470 whp on a dyno dynamics? You should ask for a hp chart as well for lazy asses like me

You did all that and choose not to port the head and use cams ?

I'm not planning to go with e85 and octane limited by 98 there is really no point except possibly for a glory run at some point.

Spending 10k plus on headwork and cams to gain 50rwk to an already undrivable car that wants to kill you at every turn is pointless to me and that's why I settled for this combo.

I can always bolt on a head and cams at a later stage without to much effort if I wish to do so, but not at this stage.

So @Chris@VargasTurboTech , any chance you could PM me the sizes of the O rings used for the breather filter? Mine kept getting stuck more than I liked even after heavy oiling so I figured my options were to either A: file down the seat for the checkvalve ball and hope it still sealed correctly without getting any metal shards in my engine or B: try to use an O ring that would seal properly, and allow venting. Funny enough the perfect size O ring was located between two of the baffles.

I swapped the two o rings and removed one of the baffles in order to maintain maximum vent since there's less gap between the baffles like this, but I think if I just had another one of the large O rings used on the bottom-baffle side I could maintain your OE style baffling, still allow full vacuum seal, and vent properly with a slightly less tall one.

The car runs excellent as is but I suppose the extra baffle certainly can't hurt it right?

The gc 2.0 held up very well this weekend on our annual ///M muster, pumping out around 520hp on our crap 93 unleaded

Done 750 Miles this weekend, between 200 to 300 of them where torture.

I have been running these just over 2000 miles without any issues.

We are going to start flex fuel tuning this soon to see how far we can push these here using the double barrel only.
