Somehow , my diff broke on my 335is. wasnt driving hard or speeding, it just broke. So now im asking if a 3.08 diff from a 6MT would work in conjuction with my car. Its hard to find a 2.56 diff for my car without buying it OEM or on ebay. Its my daily so i gotta get it fixed this weekend. All i was able to find was AT 3.46 diff and the 6MT 3.08. Any information would be appreciated

If you are a DCT a 3.08 won't work without a LOT of systems changes in the DCT control. I have a 2.56 sitting in my attic that I'd sell you along with a diff lockdown kit and axles:

Let me know if you'd be interested in the M3 conversion.
I may be parting out my car soon and have everything you need including a full M3 subframe with solid bushings and the customized driveshaft

If you end up doing the M3 conversion let me know, I'd be interested in buying the 2.56.
