Is Mac solenoid hooked up right, this was my first question. The car doesn't seem to be expecting the boost either, makes me think tune is wrong also. Pretty sure there us a single turbo specific software needed.

I think it does expect something, Target and DME BT looks correct at WOT onset for the map he's on. iirc if the Mac was hooked up wrong it should result in overboost not underboost.

fp_h is tanking hard too, has the HPFP ever been replaced?

I did use the software single turbo for JB4 back flash with the MHD

Wastegate spring for 12psi
Mac solenoid is not connected I can't get it to work you think that maybe the issue

If you have a 12 psi spring then you should build boost unless you have connected your Mac solenoid backwards. Do you have open dump or recirculated? You should be able to hear the different exhaust sound if your waste gate is open all the time on open dump tube.

iirc if the Mac was hooked up wrong it should result in overboost not underboost.

If he's not getting any boost, and actually has the springs installed "properly" then the gates are being held open.

Upon thinking about the situation, if there is no boost or vacuum source then I can't fathom how his gates would be held open no matter the configuration.

My vote is the springs aren't actually in the waste gate.

Edit: or a huge boost leak

Part of it...that is for sure. Might as well fix it while you are troubleshooting as you do need it to drive the car on anything above waste gate spring pressure.

https://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20406 <--Did you read all of this? Double check your connections and springs.

I would assume the car should run off gate pressure but it sounds like something is not correct and your wastegate(s) are stuck open.

I'm no expert but you are WOT from 2600 and make 1 pound of boost at 4000 when most people are 20+ so you have one of these:

Massive massive boost leak
Really bad turbo kit
Waste gates not working correctly

Just because you make boost that doesn't mean your hardware is OK. It just means your setup might experience boost creep even with wide open waste gates. Or your turbo is messed up somehow.

Either way, I would stop driving the car, if the Waste gates aren't working that means that turbine is probably being overspun to death

4000 rpm in third gear, no boost. Feel free to fix your fueling issues but this car is going to make waste gate no matter what unless you have one of the issues I mentioned before.

OK then the Datalog is useless. Do you need to change the scaling for the smaller map sensor? It could be that you are boosting find but your car doesn't see it on the sensor.

You need to go into the settings on the JB4 and change the TMAP setting to 3.5bar, otherwise it won't work. This is separate from setting what map the JB4 is running.

Given the age of the car I'd highly consider replacing the HPFP and perhaps the injectors. BMW did put out a recall for both, you might be able to get the dealer to replace them for free.
