From teh 10.3 post they made a few weeks back.

Here are some details on the car-

Owner- Samson McGinnis
Built by Dirty Euro Customs in SLC, UT
DirtyEuro is owned by Richard Cheeseman
Tuned by Troy Nielsen

Mods-
FTI stage 3 TH400
Pure Stage 2’s
PSP 900 FMIC
VS stage 2+
Dual nozzle meth

Running e30 and meth at 21psi we did a 10.6 then cranked it up to 24-25psi with 8-9 degrees advance and ran the 10.353. Ran out of gearing, bouncing off limiter at about the 1000’ mark so now we are going from a 26” to a 28” tire to hopefully pick up about 10mph.

The short term goal is high 9’s and should be attainable with the current setup IMO.

Add Cheeseman built Pure Stage 2 Twins and TH400 to this list. LoL 9.89 @ 130mphView attachment 20795

This is bad to the bone, and WOW to the 1.3sec 60'. Just further proof that going fast on the BMW AT is near hopeless, and that these GM trans swaps are the best solution to get it done. Very nice to finally see a well setup bolt-on twin car lay down the single digit ET too. Can't wait for the 4L80E stuff to get fully implemented (if not already).

2007 N54 335i E90

3880lbs, full street car, stock rear end, stock motor, aircon, heated elec seats, sunroof, 5 seats.

9.85 @140 (with throttle closure after 1100ft), 28psi gtx42, stock dme, jb4, jb4 pi kit, vrsf race cooler, FF china plenum, bl audi coil kit.

Didn't get a slip due to no safety equipment (cage, parachute, scatter shield, harness, fixed seat etc) but have the online record of the pass as attached.

Apparently there are 2 ways to skin a cat. Funny how different mine and ghassan cars are, yet how the et and mph are near on identical.

Guess November 2016 to February 2019 was a decent amount time to hold the record. Might try get back out there and do a sneaky pass sometime soon.

Can't wait for Ghassan to combine his lightweight big diff beast with my powerglide idea. Knockin on the door of 7s in no time!

We will be rocking your adapter plate! TH400 for us though haha! Now get your beast back on the road so we can have more cars cutting faster and faster times. I may have the record now, but you will forever be the first in the 9s under the N54 block.

Keen! My cars full weight no safety so i basicslly nearly need to colour wheel and rego change it every pass hahha.

I reckon its been long enough that they won't remember my car so i should have one crack with the new setup at least.

Th400 is good but just another shift to mess up i wish i could get down to your weight but i refuse to give up aircon or idrive or rear seats haha.

If i get pulled over with a cage it's no more rego ever. Can only have half cage which wont pass our drag tech and i have to lose rear seats. Which aint happening.

So i might not make it to fastest n54 outright but I'll try hold fastest n54 driven there and back. Radial tire. Street legal in aus.

Keen to watch you put some hurt on the 2j guys in the future!

Yep. Also cant change the seats or steering wheel. As they had airbags. Gotta be 100mm off ground. Can't have screamer pipes, no locked diffs. Bloody fun police lol

For a while I thought it was just me that called it a screamer pipe as everyone here says open dump. Maybe I picked up on some Aussie talk somewhere?

Shit that sucks donkey balls.

I wonder if they even realize you can fake out the SRS air bag system with a resistor usually. So at inspection time the air bag light doesnt come on, yet the air bag doesnt work.

So easy to get around that crap a lot of times.

If someone wants to change it, and knowingly takes the risks involved with removing it, and that change doesn't make it less safe for other people, then let them do it. Wheels and seats seem to fall into that if you ask me.

What also seems contradictory to me... how is it they prevent seats and steering wheels likely for safety (air bags), but wont let you drive around with a full roll cage which would actually make it..... safer?

In Colorado right now they are talking about possibly adopting the komifornia (california) rules on CARB compliance for parts because our governor signed an executive order saying we will fallow komifornia emissions requirements. That means I can't make my own mods to my car anymore without trying to go through CARB certification, or buying CARB certified from a manufacturer and keeping the sticker around.

Seriously, if they do that I'm out... time to move to another state, I'm done with this BS.

Sorry.... rant complete.
