So I just installed my single with ADV o2 sensors pre cat. They are a bitch to remove and have to take turbo off just to get to them.... I have to do emissions, and I have a dp fix. Will it show ready? Or will the car think something is wrong with sensors?

There has got to be a harness that can go between the sensor and stock plug to trick car into thinking regular 02 is in. Someone halp

Not sure what the adv sensors have to do with this but I have them and an O2 sim works but be sure to flash back to stock cats in MHD first or it will not allow the readiness to complete.

I was told I would not go into ready mode using adv sensors. So you went ready just using a regular dp fix?

Wtf..... I just took it all off to put stock ones on.....
so let me just confirm with you. So I don’t have to do this again.
Adv sensors on.
Stock tune. (Adv setting still checked?)
no jb4.
Dp fix in regular location in dme.

All monitors show ready? I’m in Maryland and can’t have any systems not ready

I have a custom tune, ADV sensors are baked in so I don't use the check box. You need to specifically select 'stock cats option in mhd or whatever it is called. DP fix should not be installed for a long period of time. 15-20 miles to get ready and whatever else is needed for evap and then thats it. When you're done remove it.

Your potentiometer settings may be wrong. Are you sure you are marking the stock cats option? Or de-selecting aftermarket cats, I forget which one it is. But with that check box enabled, it disables that code which makes that readiness impossible. I wasted a lot of time to figure that out.

Ok I’ll take a look. And potentiometer settings is something my tuner needs to do?

No, it should be a dial on your dp fix. Turn it to 6 o clock approximately if I recall.

oK i HAVE bIMMERLIFE COILS and I have to run a tune to activate them or my car won't run. Is there a tune that is stock that I can run that will ALLOW THE dp FIX TO WORK BUT ALLOW ME to activate the BL coils?
