Just did a pull before installing my stg3 LPFP from PR. You can see I shifted before 6500 in 4th to make sure it didn't pop out of 5th, but it did jerk a little. Talked to xHP Clemens and he suggested to get a custom tcu tune to work around that. Will probably do that so I can take advantage of the full power. Trans cooler and oil cooler are in the works. Guess the boost and timing on this pull :)

Till next time!
Who are you going to use for the custom tune?

Update:

So I finally got the @PRECISON RACEWORKS Stage 3+ Low Pressure Fuel Pump installed. It wasn't too bad, but I triple checked everything because I am OCD on something as crucial as fueling LOL. I would say it was a 6.5/10 in terms of difficulty in terms of assembling the pump and installing it in the car. Tip: Make sure the O-Rings on the pump themselves sit PERFECTLY into the blue PR manifold when installing! The manifold is a little tight so you kinda have to turn and push the pumps into it. It fits perfect, its just a little snug. And again triple check those O-Rings! I think that was the hardest part. Getting the pumps into the manifold and secured with the bracket. Other than that, pretty easy to wire up and install. Hobbs switch I ran through the firewall which ends up where the accelerator/brake pedals are. Then under the carpet and to the back. The wiring harness was really good quality. And I mean like 11/10 quality! Thick wire and it was in a quality heat shrink tube that was textured, It almost seemed OEM LOL. Freakin love that s***! Got everything installed and did a log. Sent the log to @WedgePerformance . Waiting for full e85 map! 600awhp here we come! Dyno day is June 11th!

Till next time ;)

Quick Update:

Ordered the Precision Racewerks Ignition System soon as it went public. Got it pretty quickly. I love how quick PR ships out their stuff! I am very impatient and they always seem to ship everything out so quick. Anyways, ripped apart the box and inspected the kit. It seems like really good quality! Like 10/10 typa stuff. The rail was solid and heavy, felt good. The connectors for the wiring seemed like OEM quality so that was a plus. The wire loom was, well wire loom lol. same crap.

Initial thoughts:
Very good quality kit
Connectors seem like OEM

Install tips:
Get extra wire loom. When installing mine, I wanted to re-loom everything so just grab extra cuz you'll need it.
Take your time during the de pinning process. You don't want to rush it and break the existing connectors cuz you'll be SOL then.
Use electrical tape along with the provided zip ties to completely secure the ends of the wire loom. You want that extra insurance that it won't come off.

Overall thoughts:
Everyone with an N54 with upgraded turbos or Single turbo should get this kit. Heck, even stock turbo guys pushing them to the limit should have this kit. I wonder how long these coils will last, and how PR will handle shipping extra sets of just coils. Im at 27psi with NGK 95770 and no misfires at all. Idle seems smoother and car is a tad quieter. I am still on the stock tune for the ignition system and will be updating it once its available on MHD. I have GTR plugs ( NKG 93026 ) on order, gonna gap those at .020-.026 and see how it handles it. Also, I ordered some LED lights to wire into my Hobbs switch and ethanol gauge line and fittings n crap. Will be installing those soon too.

Went to the local Dyno day over the past weekend. Got there, waited 2 hrs to be told that an AWD car melted one of the axle straps and they couldn't find any extras. Sucks. So couldn't dyno this past Sunday. Probably gonna throw on the GTR plugs, do some logs this week and try to get on the dyno this upcoming weekend. I confirmed that my transmission is really on its last leg. The car should be around 600-650 not really sure, but my 4->5 shift is jerking more than normal and then the trans will pop out of 5th and go back into 4th. Talked to xHP and they will be sending me a custom tune to see if we can work around that. I just want to get through the summer so I can roll race atleast. Might just order the trans cooler setup with 165* Tstat and get the custom tune and pray that xHP can work their magic. Let's see what happens.

Till next time!

Shout out to @PRECISON RACEWORKS for the great kit. Once again, fast shipping, quality product and badass Zebra Cake box lol

Got new GTR spark plugs which are 2 steps colder. NGK 93026

Gapped them at .026

Getting misfires at 4500+ rpm 3rd and 4th gear. The car stutters and jerks on WOT. Maybe it's because of the stock dwell tables? @PRECISON RACEWORKS

Probably need to tighten the gap. Will tighten the gap and report back.

Two steps colder might be to cold for your engine, we don't "recommend" any plug as it wouldn't really be possible as there are to many different variations in builds. Everything plays a factor, fuel, boost, compression, tune, you name it... These are things a good local tuner can help you with by reading your plugs.

After much research and discussion, seems like the GTR plugs aren't working well on these cars. Ordered the S55 plugs. Let's see how those perform. Will report back once installed.

Another one. Guys, stop using the GTR plugs, they don't mate well with our engine... Use the N20 plugs, they're 2 steps colder and have a successful track record on the n54.
