So does anyone know where I can get the aic base maps for jb4 inergration?
My AIC is currently flash only and I think I'm gonna run it with the jb4 for a bit with a bef

So last night was a long night, got done work at 4pm headed to my after hours shop and stayed till about 1am
Got the turbos, oils pan gasket, front main seal, new motor mounts and every hose, gasket or seal you could think of on that side of the engine.

Took her out for a bit today with the the no spool low timing map loaded and some duty bias tweeks and it feels possessed!!!!!! It feels like an animal on weak ots bef!!!

Motor mounts were a blessing. They solved so many clunks and vibrations I had! Idles like a dream!!

Anyways quick pole. I'm set up on meth right now.
I decided to keep the jb4 and really think I want to stay with the meth and not go port injection.
What do you guys think? I would manage to install meth nozzles in all the ports where the ls3 injectors sit currently (as plugs basically lol)

I would only use meth for iat suppression and not aux fueling.

What about the shotgun? Then you have your added fueling covered.

How much fueling it would be would have to be decided. I have a bucketless type lpfp, new hpfp and would be on e50. For what I want out of the car I don't think I'd be into the meth all that much for aux fueling. Of course it would fuel because it fuel but I don't think it would be too reliant.
I really don't care about the number and am not a drag racer kinda guy.

I just want a fun reliable (as it can be) kinda car

Pure stage 2 turbos right? I don't see why you couldn't just limit power to the max of the stock hpfp. Probably right around 600whp on E40/50. That's what I am going to do.

That's almost what I'm shooting for.. I'd even be happy with much less than that. I'm more concerned with keeping it all together lol. It's more fun when your not spending and working on them allllllllllllll the time :)

So guys, I'm considering modifying the sharps manifold LS injector bungs to be the location of 6 meth nozzles.

Has anyone ever tested how far out of the intake stream a meth nozzle can be and not suffer severe wall wetting?
That's my largest concern, that if they were say flush with the bung height it would suffer from bad wall wetting.
It would be awesome to have a simple nozzle but in the dimensions of an ls3/7 injector and use the rail and all!

@Twisted Tuning maybe you guys have some insight

Found the perfect thing for anyone else that had the same ideas!!

Aquamist makes an extended tip nozzle for VAG guys for a similar set up! I can't tap an LS injector bungs bore to 3/8npt and there are tons of options for 3/8 npt to 1/8 npt..

Wow what I thought was going to be a sourcing nightmare always actually quite easy to solve! How did we build racekars before Google lol

The fab factory manifold has those injectors already provisioned. Should be announced soon, they also convert to AN so they connect directly to the rail. So if you get tired of spending time and money on your Sharp, that is always an option, or will be.

Way out of my league of "value build" lol
Would be doing a built motor before manifold like that lol

Also fidlling is all the fun lol

I saw your pics on FB thanks

Meth is a poor choice for aux fueling. But if you do it you really do need to keep the JB4. If you want a good, proper fueling setup just run a VTT single barrel shotgun kit. Use the meth just for IAT control.

I cant say I completely agree with you but I don't really have any proof either way. Just playing devil's advocate, why is meth such a bad choice for aux fueling? Meaning why do you think.
Port meth vs PI they are both fuels (meth being the better fuel for performance) being archaically delivered to each cylinder.
Pros for meth would be some bit of misfire control, more cooling and more octane. Better atomization from a meth nozzle as well.

Now charge pipe meth through an unevenly flowing factory manifold.. yea way better idea to stay away from that..

Would like to have constructive convo on this not argue. I'm no engineer and just as curious as the rest. I think we are programmed to say meth plus n54 is bad bad bad...

majority of meth nozzles under good pressure generally have a 60* spray angle. So i wouldnt have them recessed much more than an 1/8" or 1/4" back up into the port.

most people who say Meth is bad for AUX fueling is because they are scared of the pump failing. Meth is just as usable as Ethanol. Both are secondary injection, both can have injector/nozzle clogging. Most people running PI in big volumes run two LPFPs. So one of those can fail, or not turn on and you run out of fuel.

But, again, the main thing people are always scared of with Meth injection is pump failure. Which, if you maintain the system, you're fine. Any pump can fail, any injection can fail.

I've run Meth injection for supplemental fueling on tons of builds. no issues out of the realm of any other possibilities. No chronic inssues.
