Cooling Fan Controller as Fuel Pump Driver?

Not out of the realm of possibility is it?
Has output for dual pumps. Is cheap. Mitsu p/n 1355A124
Buddy tells me Toyota uses a similar controller. But they are $$$.

Thought it might be something for a electric guru to investigate. Then worry about how to get it to speak z german and tunable.

From what that guy was saying, 20A ... so same as our FPDM. But with an additional driver.
But I'm looking at it as a starting point. Is there a similar fan controller out there that can do 30, 40, 50 Amps? I don't know. I'll look a bit and see what I can find though now that I'm curious. Could open up a neat option.
