As I said above maybe I missed them, but I have seen ZERO Dyno results. Sure 550 at 21psi would be strong.

Edit: I did see Nick Olsen's failed stage 4 dyno attempt.

My tuner took all my logs and did as close to real dyno as possible on log dyno. Yea it is correct numbers! Many people rely on this why can't we do this?? Stock turbo I did 477 whp on the same log dyno at e60 and it was 19 to 22 psi.
DYNAMIC AUTOWERX TURBOS time
22 psi flat boost on e40. (Shitty exhaust)
First run: 490 whp (shitty first run the car was somewhat cold, not cold but just not warmed up that hot)
Second run: 525 whp
Third run: 548 whp.
Professional tuner and he did stated that it is 15 whp +/- here and there. So its about 530 whp on average.

Believe me bro this is why I got these turbos. Other brands cost 2 times more sometimes AND you STILL HAVE to get all those inlets and outlets and the custom tune and you do need exhaust if you want longevity. My friends pure stage 2 hi flows had only few k miles and they took a shit. I know mmmp's also has issues. Every good turbo has failures. I love these turbos for what they are.

As I have said countless times, I am glad owners are happy with them. My point seems to fall on deaf ears as well. There are next to no actual results (dynos, vbox, etc), just one guys track times, that are nothing to go wild about, and a stage 4 failed dyno attempt that made 570whp. I hate to break it to you but comparing a youtube video of a speedo does not count as a 60-130 time and a virtual dyno is not a dyno. This is nothing against DAW. I would feel the same about ANY brand, product, or platform.

So your point is what? That owners are very happy with the turbos making getting their cars to beat up on all sorts on the street, 11s or lower in the quarter mile, 8 sec 60-130mph( if you believe it or not) Dragy will fix that argument....and even video of Vehicular DIYs channel on YT getting 540whp on a 200k N54 with the auto box and not 100% healthy and you are looking for more how? As well as that 570whp did so at only 5400rpm! and showed a boost leak on his video. The vids are out there for you to see.

Also more guys have just bought or just installed DAW turbos judging by the YT comments so I'm sure more info will keep comin. At the end of the day $1600 on turbos gets ya 600bhp. And seems the N54 is 14 years old now that's a great selling feature.

I think the point is that there doesnt seem to be a better entry level turbo with a warranty that will give your N54 550whp give or take and stay well in the comfort zone doing so for the money. And seems most new buyers to N54s are more than likely on a budget that's a big deal.

Who knows. Is there an indescribable turbo out there? I've had issues with PTE, Garret, and Mitsubishi turbos. All engines can fail. Transmissions, no matter who the fuk makes them. Mechanical parts can and will fail. Whom ever you spend your money with is your choice.

Wait wait did you not see how much pure stage 2 hi flows cost? 3600 plus tax. That's actually even more then 2 times the price, that's how much I was looking at when I was trying to get some turbos, MMP go look how much those things cost after taxes and all that shit. Some other brand turbos might not be twice the price but deff high price for a freaking old car like mine. I have 09 335. People looking at me like wtf when I tell em how much I spend on this car and I didnt even spend that much lmao and we did everything by ourselves.

That’s not at all what happened lmao my car was stuck in park because my ground cable was loose so the car wouldn’t start was a 2 min fix and car is perfect haha
