love your car! I think mine and yours are close to the same minus the 1M front bumper and fenders. Which brings me to my question for you: I have been on the fence about doing the 1M front swap because I didn't want the front to look wider and thus overpower the look of the rear tires/fenders. I have done all the 1M/M3 suspension bits swap so I was just curious how the front looks when looking at the car from the rear and how the rear looks when looking at the car from the front. All in all, I LOVE the profile shot of the 1M front with the top down and I swear, that almost has me sold.

Have some shots here that are close to what you're looking for, I think: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showpost.php?p=19347306&postcount=43

I'll have a video for you to have a much better look sometime in April that will sell you on it 100% ;) stay tuned!

Nice car man...

Thanks!

Not as pretty looking as the other rear subframe build, but here's the new subframe that's going into my car next week :)

Full M3 rear subframe including a 3.85 manual M3 diff. Also going in at the same time:
New solid subframe bushings
Full M3 front knuckles (hubs, brakes, etc)
M3 steering rack

if you don't have one already a hydraulic press is the best way to get the solid sub bushings in. The M3 rack went in my e82 with zero issues and will now go full lock in one rotation of the wheel. Clean car @Dennis

Yep we'll get those bushings in no problem :). Awesome to hear about the steering rack, did you just leave the servotronic solenoid wires unattached? I've been considering running them to my RaceCapture Pro and writing some custom script to control them.

For now I just left it unplged. I plan to address that if it bothers me. It would be great if you get it to run with the racecapture.

Great track oriented build, I bet those upgraded twins do work out of a corner. Im sure the car feels more planted too with the e9x m3 suspension parts. Ever consider grabbing the m3 steering rack as well? drove my friends m3 the other day and the stability of the wheel on holes and ditches is absolutely amazing. I've been thinking about grabbing one

M3 steering rack is in now as part of the latest set of changes :) I think the stability would be more a product of suspension rather than the steering rack -- the steering racks are almost identical other than the ratio difference and servotronic (which I'm leaving disconnected anyway)

True. I bought my car with the front control arms and bushings, but not the rears so im eager to buy them and see the difference. They aren't terribly priced so hopefully sometime soon!

Are you going to enable servotronic? I've been waiting on a stupid harness before I dive into that last part.

Will decide once I try it out; I'm still waiting for delivery of front coilovers. I probably will leave it disconnected though, I doubt it will be so stiff that I'll want it. I don't particularly like the feeling of the servotronic in our E90 M3 at low speeds.

In other news, I have another car coming!

E30 with a s50 engine swap? Niiice, wish I could find a clean but cheap e30 lol. I think someone n54 swapped them too, but I might be mistaking that
