Got any tips on how to remove the pins from this style connector?

I am using a depinning tool inserted in the front but these are not budging. They have rubber gaskets on the wire side but those shouldn't be holding as firm as this feels.
Seems as if I am missing the proper release.

Some connectors are 2 parts. You may need to remove the outer shell before removing the wires from the inner shell. Common with lighting connectors.

Thanks.

So I did manage to take it apart a bit but in the end I don't think it did anything to help. At some point, one of them suddenly popped free and it was from something I had already tried a dozen times. The technique was exactly as expected - insert a pin from the front on just the top side (based on the photo above) to depress the clip that holds it in.

That’s good to hear. Sometimes with pins, you might have to depress the clip then push before pulling out.
