Hi everyone,
Hoping someone can shed some light on why my N54 is having throttle closures in this section of RPM range (3,500-5,000 RPM).
Can feel the car having some type of trouble getting up there when trying to do the runs until higher RPM is reached, log shows fluctuations in throttle position.
Traction control is fully off.
Timing corrections are looking fine.
I'm assuming it might be related to my fueling ratios which are based from stock, i've only adjusted the higher rpm and load range with the (11.000) as attached image references to.
Here is my log;

I've attached a screenshot of my fuel map if it helps at all.
Also here is my car with it runing on a OTS MHD Stage 2+ map for comparison;

New to this all so hopefully ive added enough infomation.
Ashley.

Yeah I'm super bummed just hoping insurance company are easy to deal with and help sort it all so I can find a new n54.
Yeah I'm sweet thankfully little sore but otherwise pretty good. The person who pulled out didn't even stop just left guess they didn't wanna get in shit.

Oh I like an r33 my brother has a really nice gtr r33 midnight purple such a sick car.

hi everyone ive got myself a new 135i to replace the old one :grinning:.
there the old beast in the back ground as well, have been thinking about engine swaping it into e36 or 387 as much easier to do so i hear.
28970

Anyways im posting here because my new 135i is stock with mhd stage 0 installed which i have done a original BIN backup before the mhd stage 0.
and i have been comparing my old 135i(black) to the new white one. and it seems very different visually in Tuner pro comparing both the stock BINs
ill post a link of each of my stock bin files(both are MSD81 DME units)

Black (VF20972)

White (VF21743)

the first thing i noticed was in the Load section of the XDF categories, then under the boost control, WGDC, WGDC (RPM x Boost Setpoint) i saw that the values arent all 0 like my black(VF20972) it actually has values which makes me think it has some sort of custom tune on it? would that be wrong?
are some stock bins set like this?

or is just that tunerpro isnt displaying the white cars BIN file correctly?

If you have a moment free to compare them . Would you be able to have a look. I've noticed breakpoints often are all very strange values .
I've since put stage 0 MHD on so what ever that tune was is gone.
Probably a good thing I think

Black one is IJE0S, white one is not. If you're looking at the white car original rom in IJE0S XDF, the values you see aren't for the tables you're opening. My guess is it's a factory rom, just not any of the common ones. IKB0S/IKC0S were the closest I found, but still didn't match. No idea which rom family that is.

Ohh I thought that may have been the case all I could tell at the time was production date was July 09 and has msd81 so assumed that meant it was IJE0S .
Super weird ROM then .
Thanks RSL that makes sense as it should be stock the boost wasn't any higher etc than other N54 cars.
Now that I have MHD stage 0 on would that mean my bin is now IJE0S? Or still this other strange one?
I assume MHD will show me the ROM version when I next connect to it.

Thanks

Yes, MHD will update to the latest supported family in the factory history chain for the car. That could very well be IJE0S and, yes, after installing, MHD will show current rom family in the app and will also append the rom family to log files.
