Do holes In The bottom defeat the purpose of the bucket? Or is it ok?

And do pumps rest on the bottom of bucket or is there a gap between them?
I’m in the middle of building g this

The holes I would say defeat the purpose if you are running low. If you have a lot of fuel in the tank then I think the level in the bucket would be similar to the tank. But im not sure.

The pumps have the filter on the bottom and they are both cramped down there. As long as it isn't pushed down and plugging the hole i think it should be fine. I have ran mine down to like 6 miles left and it was still running solid.

Ok cool thanks. I wonder if there is some kind or sealant or glue that can be used inside the fuel system with no issues or it deteriorating.

I am sure they make something but I didn't use any of that. Do you have holes on the bottom you are trying to fill?

Does the links still go to the right products? I got the Venturi line and t fitting. This line won’t fit on there lol.

It is very hard to get on. You got to heat it up. I think I stuck something in it to make it a little bit bigger while it was heated. Then forced it on. I was getting pissed but it does go on.

You could hook it directly to a car battery.

EDIT: That is what I did to test that one of my pumps were bad at one point. But might not be a smart thing?
