You're going to have issues with that filter having so little surface area. My Xona started sucking oil through the compressor shaft seal from having too small of a filter on it, and that was at 350-400 whp.[/QUOT
That filter is all I had in the shop to test fit, it's not the one going in.
This is just a mock up, it's all I had in the shop at the time.

Thought I remember coolant passages being a no go on that?

Nothing a bit of welding and grinding wouldn't fix. Head bolt bores need another 1mm or so as well, and you're also going to need a different exhaust manifold as well because the bolt pattern is completely different, not to mention the ports themselves are 4mm larger in ID at the manifold flange

I had a harness pile like that also, it's hell moving it around. About the n52 engine, the specs makes this a great option if you were to put a lot of money in it.

Did you remove the HPFP pre-filter and mod your fuel rail? Ever tried running a hair more timing? What is your target AFR if I may ask?
Nope didn’t remove anything and naw 9* at thy boost level was plenty for the stock motor. Afr was like 11.8-11.9. On the rich side for sure

What filter were you running?

It's been a little while since I had the chance to touch my car, but recently got back on it with plans of stating in the coming week. Hopefully I'll be able to do my intercooler end tanks tomorrow.

Why run a filter at all instead of a guard for a dedicated drag car?, With the turbo placement it will be taking cool air directly from the front of the car, do you really intend on dailying it once its finished?

Turbo guard 100%. Or shorten the intake pipe to about 1/3 its current length and run a big ass filter like this one
