Good to know since these things seem to go bad when you fart next to it.

How the heck do you make a claim... mine gave me an error in Carly and was acting up then went away I can't reproduce the intermittent faults.

You have to take the car to the dealer and I suspect the FRM module needs to have an error. The only other way I know is if your car was not covered and you had the work done, then BMW updated the policy and you were recovered. In that case, I believe they reimburse.

Can we make a sticky listing all possible warranties that may still be in effect including recalls

That's good news... Not so funny thing is "Pro tool" fried my FRM module.

I was doing routine checking of the latest update to the software after looking at new features and I disconnected from the DME the footwell module lost its programming... SMGDH

Does "Pro tool" have the ability to recover the "FRM" and/or how to reprogram the FRM

Is this extension of two years applicable in Canada, I just got my FRM fried by the service center and unfortunately my warranty for the FRM expired two months ago?

I've been driving around in a 2019 X3 the past 1.5 weeks because the dealer fried the FRM while doing two recalls. They said they had to go through hoops to get it approved and some other BS. My car is within 10 years/156k so it would have been good either way I believe.
