Probably a kia or so the rumour goes. Maybe a 90s neon?

Why you leaving? Tired of endlessly dropping coin into an n54?
I just don't ever drive the car anymore, and am definitely tired of dropping money on it.

I don't know sometimes less is more that why i want to avoid pi but i just got rid of an 07 explorer and bought a new x5 made me really think about getting a m2 but then i drove my car around a few days and yes the interior is aging but the drive is so amazing i would make sure you don't do anything you regret

I'm definitely taking it slow. I'll put the car back to stock, drive it like that, and sell all the parts before it gets sold off. Right now the plan is to just move that direction and see if I find a point where I am happier with the car and enjoy it more.

Keep us posted on whatever you end up in, you're a great member of this crazy community.

And to your point, no real rush to sell everything. The car sitting around doesn't cost all that much, so you can pick and choose what you sell and what you wanna get into going forwards.

Exactly! The car has been paid for for 5 years or more. So, at the very least, I want to pull some equity back out of it while I figure out exactly what I want to do with it. I do think something like an old R8 or Gallardo could be fun. Just leave them totally stock besides maybe wheels, lip kits, wrap job for color fun, and then actually drive it. We'll see though, I'm not giving up entirely just yet. How's your car doing btw?

An old R8 or Gallardo will certainly be cheaper than a new girlfriend.

Especially since I've been rocking the single status for the past couple years. If you can be happy alone, you can save a ton of money! Lol

... until you move to a new platform ... and the microfiche diagrams suck, parts resources suck, lack of support, et cetera. I've done this a few times and its been a reminder to why I ended up with BMWs. When I wanted a 2-seater sports car I looked at all kinds of stuff and decided on the E89 Z4 because at the end of the data I knew I had the resources to do what I wanted to do. Just sayin' ...

If I buy another car it will be a Backdraft with a Rousch 427ir. Let us know what you do - will miss reading your commentaries ...

The parts will fetch a good sum, which is always nice.

My car is doing well, as usual more sitting around than anything. Tossed it on the dyno a few weeks back and it made 64x, I dont remember the exact whp figure and don't care to push further.

That's sad that yours sits around too...pretty sick on the power though! I originally wanted to shoot for 7-750, but I think I'd be happy for a while now swapping some things out and having a very linear powerband at like 5-550, with better driveability and knowing the motor should be able to take it for years with no issues.
