Technical Fueling solutions. Port injection? Intake manifold?

Back story is I'm currently having an engine fully built. Basically the whole 9 yards.

I'm having a heck of a time deciding on what to use for fueling. I have the pumps in place so that's not an issue. I'm not sold on the expensive intake manifolds and I want my best bang for the buck. That being said if an aftermarket intake manifold is the best way to go then so be it. Power goals are 750-800. I'm currently only running a 6266 so my expectations are in place. I want some headroom for a larger turbo down the road.

So the decision is:

Stock intake manifold with port injection?

or

Aftermarket intake manifold with additional injectors?
...if so, what make?

Buy once cry once. Either go with Evolution of Speed or Doc Race manifold if you’re looking for gains if not go with BMS stock metal replacement.

A manifold with built in PI is definitely a clean solution, if you have a manifold you really like the look of and the extra budget it can be a good way to get your PI needs met and pretty up your engine bay. If you want the best bang for you buck though, a spacer is going to be hard to beat.

Our basic PI kit starts at $299. Stage 1 includes DW 550 injectors and everything you need except the controller for $599. Simple and cost effective.

We offer everything from the basic spacer/rail/hardware by itself to full kits with external FPR, upgraded line kits and a return line, all depending on budget and goals. Shoot me a PM or email if I can help!

I have a motiv pi rail with full feed line from the driver’s side tank and 550cc Bosch injectors for sale. PM me if interested.

I am in the same situation as you. I am currently running MMP Gen 1 PI rail but it is just crap. Gasket to the head does not seal and boost leaks like crazy. I am not really wanting to do another PI rail when I can get a complete intake and eliminate the 6 extra boost leak spots for about the same price as some of these PI rails.

I would spend the extra on having integrated PI manifold with easily accessible injectors on the top side.
any trouble shooting you might do where you want access to the injectors tucked under the manifold is a pain compared to how easy it could be on top.

Will be swiching from Fuel it spacer to BMS manifold for leak and clearance issues.
The spacer push my charge pipe too close to the wheel well..

Just worried that the injector spray angle wont be as good as fuel it spacer..

This is really want I don't want to deal with when it comes to plate style port injection. If even a Fuel-It rail leaks i can only imagine all the other have the potential.

The oem manifold has the potential to leak. It’s not potential you need to worry bout o much as the probability.
