If your BMW's headlights need a refresh, I created a step-by-step guide to bring them back to life. I've done this many times with great results and have tried all the kits out there. This is by far the best method that holds up over time. Just thought I'd share!

I have done it plenty of times as well. There is little reason to go with any of the kits. The price you pay for the small amount if supplies is ridiculous.

buy some 3M 600, 800, 1000, 2000 grit wet/dry paper, lens polish of your choice, and a pad

you will get a lot more paper and a lot more polish buying your own supplies

True, but the 3M kit is only $10. Worth it to me to get the basics.

lol ... but seriously ... because I finish guitars, I have about $1,500 tied up in buffers that rocks for also doing my headlights :). Wet sand to 2,000 grit and compound buff. But seriously one of those drill kits will work quite well.
