I like this idea if making an inlet system like one, bringing it to the existing r/s fresh air entry point. I’ve seem a 2 2 1/2 to single 3, but not sure if it will be to small using a single filter to feed a twin intake system. Being it’s an e60, not feeling oem silicone, or do a relocation like the 3;s. Sorry for a bit off topic, but I just saw the same thing I was looking to do

Hey @Rob09msport, how's it going? Can you post an update on what went on with your outlet project? I don't know that I've seen photos. I also know your guys were going to offer providing outlets to others. I'm wondering if other people purchased outlets ... or ... curious what the latest story is. Anyone else have input, as well?

I thought I had posted pics. I will put everything I have up tonight in this thread. I stopped pushing everything as soon as hydra started working on his cause I wasn't tying to make money , just wanted help people get up and running. Last I heard their was nickel and diming going on as far as people wanting the couplers included for free with the outlets. Maybe im wrong but this wasnt a product being advertised and brought to market it was a fabricator doing a favor so for 300 for him to give 100 plus in quality hardware is not reasonable imo. Ya he could throw some cheap stuff in but who wants that and he still would had to pay tax and shipping to him. Idk this platform has changed and it's sad sometimes that people can be made to regret trying to help and be caught explaining and defending themselves when their wasnt monetary gain to begin with.

I have been told someone who bought is upset cause they only received y pipe they said they didn't pay full price but both sides are saying they were clear and I'm in middle now. I think in negotiating price down the fabricator just did the y pipe to save money but that's not what the buyer wanted they wanted whole thing but for less money. Now I'm offering to pay shipping cause I hate this meanwhile I had nothing to do I made intro and said this was price and it hmgot changed. This is honestly why I am sorry to say if anyone needs help PM me and I'll be glad to do whatever ,I even have extra pipes laying around from all my adventures lmao.

Rob, you gonna stick the VRSF on the lawnmower? :tonguewink:

I wouldn't even do that I was thinking of trying cause I hate the sound my turbos made but I think it may have been a whistle from the way the two halves were angled so I'm literally warming car up to test . Btw that vrsf outlet would work if you oval the long leg slightly and then used a pipe bender or put a 1.75 inch 135 degree elbow on where I cut off the piece. Not sure if would be horrible for flow but the way to do this is 2 inch rear turbo like vrsf or anyone else's but before front turbo go to 2.5 inch then have a 1.75 or 2 inch leg 45 off the log and then use a silicone 45 for alignment purposes.
