Isn't someone making modified engine covers?

With aftermarket coils the engine cover doesn't fit any longer. I'm hesitant to modify my cover as I don't trust myself to do so. :) I recall reading somewhere the someone (vague enough?) was in the process of making engine covers which take into consideration the aftermarket coil setups. I'm not a fan of injector noise, and am interested in a solution. The car will be put up for the winter as soon as I burn the rest of the E85 & cal fill it with gasoline, so I'm in no hurry.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Cheers, and happy Thanksgiving all.

Does the ER cover fit with PR coils installed? I was under the impression it was identical to the stock N54 engine cover.

The evolution raceworks engine cover is no longer in production. @nelsonracingwheels is in the process of making a carbon one that should fit with pr coils

Perhaps the Nelson Racing part is what I saw. The car is going into hibernation for the winter, maybe something will become available over the winter.

Mine looks as good as the day I bought it ... which means, buy it. For the decal, it is under clear. The easy thing is to buy vinyl wrap, such as carbon fiber wrap, cover it and put whatever you want in its place.

Somehow I didn't see this question earlier. No problem with cover and Revshift. I have a bastard setup though. I don't see that there would be an issue in general. As far as coils ... I ran R8 with no issues (on Eldors now), but they are not much different. Will probably switch to PR this winter with impending twin swap out. Sorry I can't answer that question. If there was an easy way to glean a measurement, would be glad to do that for you. Just not sure how to get you useful information.
