Wow, the M3 setup is that strong? What is the allure of the 8.8 kit then? It's awful expensive just to have a wider selection of gears.

:) I think a Motiv twin disc, axles, an LSD with a lockdown and some solid bushings are in my future. Yay for winter build.

Should look into getting a 3.15 diff and subframe dropout from an e92 M3. I think that's my plans for this winter. Get the bigger and stronger diff, subframe, suspension and stronger axles.

that is probably my plan as well. in the future should you need the e92 m3 diff has plenty aftermarket options for stronger internals as well as different final gears. a 3.15 --> 2.93 ratio E92 M3 would be sick for 1/2 mile

Thanks for discussing rear end options. It's something I'm not as familiar with (yet).

Well, my clutch holds the 3-4 shift but doesn't hold up as well on the 2-3 shift. Since the 3-4 shift is fine, I wanted to test my 60-130 time again.

This was my best time BEFORE the shift bog fix.

This is my first try AFTER the shift bog fix.

As you can see, I knocked off 0.3 sec with the fix alone! You can also see the blue line has much less lag in the middle (3-4 shift). The best part about this is that my 3rd gear was actually stronger in the "before" pull as you can see by the 60-70, 60-80, 60-90, 60-100 times. This means I picked up all of the 0.3 difference with the faster shift, and that there is even more on the table. I think with some fine tuning, I'll be able to get a very low 6 second pass on a cold night with a low tank of gas.

Still 1sec for the shift. Faster than the other one, but still a 1sec shift. I think you are at the limits of the 6MT synchro's at this point. Frame of reference. Factory 6AT shift is .600sec, and an xHP Stage 3 6AT is .400sec. Factory DCT is about .050sec and an M3 GTS flashed trans is about .010sec.
