I can understand bottom of the barrel manifold. In my personal opinion, the price is a little on the high end. But, if people don't want it, they don't have to buy it. So..

02 bungs are included if user installs on n54. I created this for those with budget builds or getting rid of bad stock turbos. I will have a complete kit soon priced under $2500.
Customers email me asking for a budget bottom mount so this is pretty well priced when you piece things together.

Jerry, I have nothing against you, but I can't see that manifold flowing well.

I'm curious as to how you arrived at that design. Was it simply built to meet a cost?

I think it was designed to be cheap and most basic functionality. Ugly is a byproduct of that, and some people don't care about that aspect since its mostly not visible. But I'll let Jerry chime in since I am only speculating.

Very interesting design. I'd liked to see the complete kit. I'm sure it will be a good replacement for the unreliable TT. And if you can make and sell it for under $2K it would be a game changer. Even at $2.5K I think people would prefer it over upgraded TT. Now you just need to ramp up production to keep up with demand.

To the people questioning design, its a simple log manifold, been used since the stone ages. Are they flow optimized, nope, do they work, sure do. People have been making big power on log manifolds forever. I do agree with Andy though. $799 for a log is steep, when its being advertised as a budget option.

I agree, This set up is not intended for the best flow however would probably yield 500-600 with the right turbo and fueling. This would a good option to upgraded twins. This would give me more piece of mind than twins that could fail at anytime. However it is not worth much more than $400. A whole kit around 2k would be ideal for this "budget" build.

LOL. Running a turbocharger company I have seen as many "single" turbos fail as N54 twins. That this mindset lives because the only people who usually post are people with issues is funny. I will put a set of GC lites up against ANY budget single turbo build, in terms of not only spool, but power production, and longevity. Let me know if anyone wants to take up the challenge.

Tony I agree with you on a budget turbo build. My concern is the failing waste gate design (which is not your fault) and that if for some reason damage occurs to a single turbo the replacement will be half the work. I personally don't believe in going cheap on a vital part like a turbo. However in the past JPworks has supplied PTE and Borg turbos which i don't not feel are a budget turbo. You make a great product and I am not discrediting it. This is a different market and If the log design performs like you said it would then he would need it to be much cheaper to keep people from buying upgraded twins since they perform so well. I just want to know how much power could be made with this and how much the cost would be.

Really? I'd like to see all these "failed singles", because I've seen none to hardly. Oh, and when it happens, with a top mount kit, 4 bolts, v band clamp, filter, remove, replace. I guess when you sell twin turbos it's hard to not smash talk a single setup.

Fewer moving parts are by simple numbers more reliable, but I've seen many a cheap precision fail... thus the tax to buy a Garrett or BW. I would hope nobody interested in this kit is gunning for records, but I know some people will get the boost any way they can so for them here you go. Like Tony said a log is a log and the motors are pretty stout so yeah. We're just spoiled by the super-log manifold from Motiv that defied conventional log-ic.
