Think a single 535 is enough to support a shotgun or helix?

Whenever my 525 takes a dump on me, I'll replace it with the 535 pump to see. 535 pump wasn't available when I purchased the 525 pump.

Depending on what you are trying to do on power targets ( = fuel consumption). @martymil is running straight gas and maybe a small splash of ethanol (don't recall) on a double shotgun.

I'm running e40 on a 535 20 psi with a custom di pump I'm testing atm, no issues on the 535 with no pressure dip on the lpfp

Stock ekp3
I am upgrading my fuel setup. Old setup was dual 450 pumps. The primary pump died on me and i am replacing it with 295 and keeping the secondary as 450. Where should the inline filter go to? Also i still have the ekpm2 , shoukd i upgrade to the epkm3 and if so i have protool, how did you fix the voltage error?
thanks a lot Marty

When are we going to hear more about this custom di pump? Reading statements like that excites me!

Yes upgrade to a ekp3, yes you can use protools if you get the error but I'm not getting it.

Put the inline filter anywhere under the car where its easily accessible for cleaning before it reaches the di pump or pumps.

That's not up to me but it should be ready for launch before Christmas.

No. The EKPM2 is better for running the bigger amperage pumps. That's been worked through on this forum. Stick with what you have and upgrade to the 535lph pump. You are good to go.

Should i remove the In tank fuel regulator on the driver side so it won’t restrict flow ? Maybe add an external filter and regulator like pfs offer for $200 instead the $599 hat from precision? I am just trying to get it done now since the pumps are out now and tackle everything.
Thanks

I found the ekp2 has a hard time controlling the LPFP pressures smoothly, switching to ekp3 on my 335 smoothed everything out.

No problem for the ekp3 controlling the 535 pump with no active cooling and in one of the hottest climates on earth.

The factory reg wont restrict flow but they do fail quickly once a big pump is installed.

Do your self a favour and run an external one with a return line and plug the factory reg with a bolt with some Teflon gas tape on the thread.

Can you clarify what is considered big? Anything other than stock or are you referring to something like dual walboros?

Thanks. I was hoping you wouldn’t say that haha. What are some ways to tell if the stock regulator is going bad?
