I'll give it a shot! How are you measuring your shift speed times (in ms)? Did you turn down the limiter in your flash?

The best way is to watch the lambda sensors to show the fuel cut then when they come back "on" (reading sensible lambda values), you get the lag from the sensor, but that lag is constant and short so the duration of lambda reading high (fuel cut) is the shift speed. Also looking at vehicle speed, you can see when the acceleration stops and when it starts again.

Yeah I have it turned down to 6950rpm right now, I see peak power around 6250rpm due to my small turbine housing (0.82a/r) so it's plenty of engine speed for me.

@suspenceful , how does the car drive with the drag shocks in normal driving and handling? I know it might be hard to judge if your stock shocks were blown, but did you notice any adverse effects? Those are a great value for better drag times, that's for sure!

It drives fine! It's softer if anything. I can't say they were the contributing factor in the launch as I changed a lot of things, but I don't think they hurt anything. Just be aware that they're a good bit shorter than the stock shocks and you'll have to get creative with re-using the stock bushings/hardware.

For anyone curious, I put my 135i on the scale to see how much it weighed when I ran that 10 second pass...

When an axle broke were there any symptoms or was it just immediate failure?
Also did it throw the car sideways with one side losing drive?

Great results. Hoping to get into the 10s soon myself. I'm on stock axles, diff and Drive shaft but with a dct trans.

No symptoms, just immediate failure. Car wouldn't move with the open diff, I think with an LSD, it would still drive. Happened during launch both times, so it just lurched and then didn't move.

What was the launch method when this happened? Assuming at the track?

Yes - launch method was simply dropping the clutch both times. Once on stock turbos and once when single turbo.

Great job man! Though I do think the car would have ran better MHD only :) Boost looks a bit sloppy in the log and you can currently NLS with MHD as-is using the shift bog fix and PI safety (coil cut). Albeit, this doesn't have timing retard / matched RPM drop yet so it's not marketed as "true" NLS.

Post up a 10 second car with MHD only and better boost logs to back that claim please.

@noorj ran a 10.7 and I believe he's flash only on eboost street EBC?

Side note, I love when flash only guys trash talk JB4 and post logs where the settings aren't right. Just shows their ignorance outside of their bubble. Set your duty bias curve correctly and JB4 is a very capable boost controller.

Personally I would never NLS my car without an ignition cut. Sure it works but is putting unnecessary stress on literally everything lol

It does have a coil cut, as I said above: use shift bog fix + PI safety. PI safety cuts the coils when the DI injectors are cut.

In MHD's defense, my car definitely would have ran the same on the boostbox. When I had it up and running it controlled boost well, I just saw some weird electrical issues with it. The eboost I have on the car now is probably the "worst" of the 3 major ST boost control options from a safety standpoint, I just like how easy it is to change target and still allows the ECU to be in control of every other signal (even boost via throttle closure when needed). Once MHD adds switchable targets to boostbox integration I'll probably switch back over.

Any NLS is putting more stress on the drivetrain, sure. I think the most beneficial thing is have something that can take up *some* of the instantaneous torque spike for an NLS (in my case, xclutch organic that slips a hair on an NLS). No matter how the NLS is accomplished, a instantaneous transition from negative torque to high positive torque is always going to occur, it just needs to be manageable. That's why once MHD gets some fancy NLS logic (initiate the fuel reinstatement with some degree of spark retard, then ramp it back in) it will save drivelines and improve times at the track

Sorry for getting off topic @suspenceful lol

I have read this thread and I see a lot of talk about 2step and NLS. I have a 2011 135(n55) I am looking into putting a wotbox in to get 2step and NLS. Any suggestions?? Has there ever been a wotbox installed on a N55 correctly without issues?? Any help/opinions would be greatly appreciated. TIA
Congrats on the great pass Jake

It's been done but I don't know if there is a DIY out there like the N54. Here's a thread.
