@doublespaces what address do we send these back to? I don't feel like sifting the thread right now...
The address is..
Synchrotech Transmissions
581 Covina Blvd
San Dimas CA 91773

On a good note, I ordered my LSD with new diff bearings on Sunday and I just got my tracking.
I think I will just drop the diff off at their shop when I head down for Bimmerfest to save some money on shipping it.

How far is that drive? May be ready to have fluids changed by the time you get back if not sooner.

Wish I could just " Drop them off"… I just had to pay UPS to ship them insured from Atlanta to California for $300+ for the pair... at least that process is done though... and my Torco SGO in the mail today, having my one series swapped post break Oil tomorrow... Mountain drive Saturday… :)

They already said they would print shipping labels for $100 I think.
That was what someone else posted from another location... don't think it's a flat rate esp when it's 196lbs of stuff going that far... idk

Edit
Also insured for 1000$ but that was like 10$ extra over 100$ insurance per unit (200$)

Leaving SF to LA takes about 350 miles. Total trip usually takes 1,000 miles. Not too bad. I might try to get the fluids changed before I go. Edit: LSD just arrived today!

Still waiting on ANY update aside from "departure scan" on tracking... that was the 25th... would be nice to see the truck hasn't gone off he road or been taken by truck jackers:D... it'll probly just show "arrival scan" at the local Cali facility... lord knows when, with the holiday / weather, etc.

I will say I freaking love these diffs tho!!! Wow, what an improvement!! I got the 135 broken in and Torco SGO 75W90 filled, still got a couple hundred miles on the IS.... but man oh man, what a quality product ! @MFactory

I honestly haven't been making enough power long enough to need an LSD but its going in anyway :)

Maybe you haven't "needed" one but, U don't have to make that much power to benefit greatly from one... I guess it just depends on what kind of driving you do... i think Anyone over 200lbft torque could use one on track/tracklike conditions... I go up into the mtns almost every weekend, and lighting up the tire(s) after the apex on a hard turn in 2nd gear was a regular occurrence... and even straight line in cool weather on the IS, the boost hits and the car would just immediately fishtail, even on the Dinan P3 tune, and even more so on the MOTIV 21# :)... now they're just so predictable and soooo much more control and traction... the new set of PSS on the 135 def helped, but The diff and the tires it's unstoppable in the mtns...

Stuff that would have spun me around backwards is now just controllable power rather than... well... uncontrollable..,

I had a great comparison because I went from open diff, non-preferred tire set up to open PSS setup, to LSD PSS setup, and had a mountain ride every week in every situation… The last one being the best as my diff had broken in and I didn't hold back

I did no coding and it's great, 2011 335is and 2013 135i... both are 'great' on either level of disable DSC/DTC, and even 'alittle better' with it on, of course as it's not one wheel drive anymore ;)

Ah, the coding applies to the same for us with E9x?
I read that article in the past before and it was based on the E84/X1 so I didn't bother reading the rest of it.
Im sure it's all the same shit, some will have more than others as far as featured and functions but, I figured as far as the basic stuff like, "brake fade compensation" being active or not, is a matter of pulling the files and either changing the value or changing the status to active of not (but in german)
