Glad to hear your engine started.
I have stage 2 LPFP no PI and use no more than E50 or E60 which the car loves, which means about 8.5-10 gallons of E85 and the rest E10 gasoline (I prefer 93oct). Your E85 from the pump could actually be E70 or lower, but that’s the great thing about MHD / MOTIV FlexFuel - it automatically adapts for you.

To see eight monitors on MHD make sure the parameters you want to see on the display are checked. Uncheck any you don’t need to log since you are limited in number to something like 30, I forget exactly the number.

Good luck!
Sons good! Thanks again for all the help. I'll play around with it tonight and go fill up and see how she runs. Want to get it up and running for mpact at Poconos and also h20i this fall. I'll update forums as progress occurs or issues.

Can you please post a screenshot of the following log parameters with car running: ECA Voltage, Ethanol Content, Fuel Interpolation. So I can verify it is correct.

Thank you

Hey guys. So I couldn't do a log. I did run my car on the way to get e85. Lpfp at 80,. Etoh @9.9%. renting seemed good. I went and did 5 gallons of e85 which put me at 36% ethanol.. it was running great. Things are looking good. When I have time I'll actually post a log. Thanks again. Btw. If this is true flex fuel.. what's the most gallons I can put in on a 16 gallon tank? If in limited, why would I be limited... Im assuming the lack of port injection?

Hey guys sorry it was so long. I was out of country. I also ended up changing my plugs to ngk 2 step cooler. It's been running good... I'll include a log.. Not I sent this to Steve at fuel it... On the mhd it shows peak and lows.. At one point my lpfp went down to 47.. Anyways here the log

Looks pretty good! Your LPFP behavior is the same as mine, which is fine since your STFTs going negative are still pulling fuel so no problems going lean. You can probably get it to settle down better by installing a BPM4 EKPM3 controller.

I would unplug them both when not running an FF map. I just stated to plug the orange in temporarily if you wanted to volt meter the green and check your content quick.
hey guys, so im glad i seen this thread, iv been running motiv since the spring,(after my initial inspection) as noted my evap system hasnt been ready. In NY i can pass with one not ready and being im fbo, i have catalyst not ready. I also had the DP fix from vrsf, Which one is easier to do, pull the wires from the motive flex fuel and reflash stage 2+, or just install the DP fix.( also i read some people online, that your not suppose to leave it in as it can mess with fuel trim... not sure if this accurate. BTW, i just bought pure600, spool helix overdrive and will be getting a custom tune with Ken at wedge in the spring after everything in. Thanks for the help.

Glad this was helpful to you, by the way you should share your build progress :)

I'm so glad I happened to stumble upon this thread today. I have the FF module and just went back to stock temp. to smog the car, and was getting DMTL code and didn't know why. I ordered a new pump but it hasnt arrived yet, and now I see I just need to disconnect the module to get DMTL to function properly. I have a feeling I would have never figured out it was the FF module causing the DMTL fault. Hopefully I can return the DMTL pump since it isn't used.

I haven’t messed with my 93 Octane map in over two years. My Fuel (main) table AFR is set to 15.999 ( leaner than 14.7 stoichiometric) at 1800-2200rpm and below 60 load for my FlexFuel map. See table below. Could this prevent Catalyst readiness? Should make that whole area in the cruising range 14.671 like all of the other values nearby in the table? I have stock cats and am having a heck of a time getting Catalyst readiness.
Thanks

Got an email asking about this thread related to readiness issues, thought I'd chime in (albeit late).

Narrow band O2 sensors like post cats switch back and forth rich/lean at stoich, if you're constantly lean you won't get readiness as Jake said. Probably not the best to run too lean with stock cats, although it doesn't look like you're too aggressive with it I ran it to 3k rpm and a little higher load on e85. Doesn't look like your idle was leaned out but back when I was playing with lean cruise I also noticed O2 readiness was difficult/ impossible if you target too lean at idle/low rpm, in case anybody has that issue in the future.

Most tunes assume no cats (since everyone here has track only cars in Mexico) so if you have them you need to check the mhd box for factory cats to override the values.
