From my understanding is that in order to do it yourself, you would have to wait either for MHD option to be released or public xdfs to be updated with other tables. You can't just changes the values in the screenshot and expect it to work 100% Also as @V8bait and Robert mentioned, you can email them your unlocked bin and they will make the changes for you.

I have the PR ignition system.

Got NGK 93026 which are the GTR plugs. 2 steps colder.

Gapped them at .026

Getting misfires at 4500+ rpm 3rd and 4th gear under high load.

Will tighten the gap a little and report back.

Are you getting them right after install? have you tried adaptations reset on INPA?

I had similar issue to yours, I'm going to try a different plug.

Nice MHD update it's live  now about the plugs it seems the GTR plugs are giving us some issues so I think I might go back to 95770 or try the S55 plugs.

I have the Bimmerlife coil set with increased dwells and have gone through two sets of the GT-r plugs myself. First set was gapped at .028 and had a complete failure in on plug above 32 psi. I gapped the second set down to .022 and after two days of 34-35 psi pulls they started to misfire. Cleared up at 28 but I suspect they will soon fail so they are coming out. I have had good luck with the 5992 and N20 plugs. I'm going to give the Brisk plug a try next. For those not wanting to waste money on trial and error stick to the 5992 or N20 plug as they are both proven at this point. My car is up on jackstands doing the Mfactory LSD this week so i should be able to provide some feedback on the brisk plug next week hopefully for those interested.

Thanks for the info, I think the problem might be the GTR plug and not the coils or stock tables. So once we all begin share what has worked and what not will help others. I'm going to install the 5992/95770 and see if problem goes away.

Here is the GTr plug and N20 plug. The GTr is slightly shorter overall but the center electrode is lower in the assembly. So the actual flame front would be starting closer to the cylinder head. Maybe something to do with it but it isn't an instant failure for me. I'll get a handful of high boost pulls and then it starts misfiring slightly and progresses fast from there

What is the recommended gap for NGK 5992/95770 using the new coil setups?

This would be only my opinion based on my experience. Using straight E85 as a fuel and the Bimmerlife coils this is where I'm at. Outside air temps and dwell can effect this. In other words on a 52 degree night at 32 psi with E82 in the tank .028 gap and a lower dwell table given by Alex I had some slight hesitations. Added dwell to the tables as directed by Alex and it cleared up. Same results with dropping the E content down to about E77 (inline sensor). If you are running lower ethanol content or have warmer temps outside you can open the gap. This is just what I've been able to test out in the last few weeks. I happened to get a cold snap one night and was able to see how it effected everything. It comes down the charge density. Boost, fuel and temperature all play a role.

.028-.030 up to 25psi
.026 from 26-28 psi
.024 28-32 psi
.020-.022 32+

Those using GTR plugs, why not use the N20 plug? It's 2 steps colder and has proven better success. I also think we the two coil vendors should give a set of coils to someone to test back to back and give a comparison and pro's and con's of each set since one is smart coils and one is custom.

For me its just something I like, to try different things. A hobby and an education. I can tell you that on my engine the gt-r plug is quieter (timing pull) than the n20 plug even though it is the same Heat range.

*Update* So ditched GTR plugs and switched to my old 95770 gapped at .026 has seemed to fix my issue. I guess not everybody has had luck with GTR plugs and like @08_335i mentioned N20 plugs are 2 steps colder as well so that might be a better option. I will try the 97506 plugs next.
