I just wanted the plug and play connectors. As far as I know, the new boots function identically to the old ones, just look more OEM and have the nice logo on them in the mould.

may want to check on that. Email I have from PR a while back suggested the new boots will give a better positive click on to the plug tk prevent arc tracing.

He says functionally they will be identical. The wire and boot will both function the same as before. The new ones are just a little easier to install/remove than the old ones. Designed to help stop user error during install.

I read that N54 guys can have the coils located by the intake manifold like the N55 setup. Is there a different price for that setup? I think I'd prefer it, and hopefully be able to run the engine cover, possibly with some trimming.
