Did anyone post a timeline on the MHD module? The last post I saw just said that its coming soon.
So glad to see this all materialize after such anticipation! I think it’ll be totally worth the wait though.
Already placed my order for the box, but I also still need to get a sensor so I planned on getting the sensor, option 4 from Motiv (Sensor + Full Feed Line Upgrade). I’m assuming I would still need an ECA if I wanted to be able to see content via JB4, right? If so, where would I source one that is compatible with this kit? Just trying to figure out what exactly I’d need to buy for all this to come together...

Great question. I was thinking about this too since I’m flash only and don’t currently have an in-line ECA.
Maybe (hopefully) the revised MHD with FlexFuel module will be able to log and/or display percent ethanol.
I believe I recall Jake saying that ethanol content would be a logged parameter. It wouldn't make much sense for it to not be logged, if it has to use it to interpolate.
My question is - do I need to use a flex fuel tune in order to log ethanol, or can I install the ECA, use it to determine my ethanol percentage (and ideally target a specific value, say E40) get my tune set, and then enable flex capability after both the 93 and E40 tunes are completed.
Covered earlier in this thread. Yes, you can log and/or display current % ethanol.
Definately a new question. But you are doing what has been done for the past 2y with the FlexFuel offering from Fuel-IT. If you want to do what you explained here....people have been doing that for years.
This offering takes it one step further and allows the DME to....well, I think you understand that. But basically your request is possible and has been done for a long time already and there's plenty of people that can show you their BT ECA setup to accomplish your goal.
Though I don't know why you would want to cause yourself extra work for absolutely no extra benefit. And the loss of the safety of true flex fuel...counter productive in my opinion. You're asking to go backwards in features and functionality.

There will be a few new params added: sensor voltage, ethanol percentage, fuel interpolation percent, timing interpolation percent, and load interpolation percentI'm interested but not currently being tuned by Motiv. Will my current tuner be able to tune my car with a flex fuel setup?
