N54 Stock DME Flex Fuel

I’m loving the flex fuel install was a breeze since all the wires were pre-pinned. Got it up and running Friday flashed the stage 2 93 map on and I’m getting timing pulls every other log. I’ve done 5 pulls so far hopefully i can get some insight. I wouldn’t think the car would be pulling any timing on 14 psi and 13 degrees of timing any input is appreciated thanks.

Re doing flex fuel cuz I went to dealer, I get this now. Car cranks but doesn’t start. I also get a random electric coolant pump missing which I feel like is a ground issue.
DISREGARD and check your water pump wires. My assumption that it was a ground issue was close.

Seems the content is acting weird. Second log shows it really bad where the content is just going down. I am full E85 in the tank.

Yeah I will add that and do some and let you know. Looking at all my past logs, it didn't do it. I did recently do a reflash and added the PR coils so I checked that on the MHD settings.
Last log, the worst of the two I got cat codes. Car ran bad. I ran some checks in inpa and let car sit and then it fixed itself. But after I cleared codes it was still running bad until I messed with inpa.
2C3D - DME: Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter: Line Fault.
2C3E - DME: Oxygen sensor 2 before catalytic converter: Line fault.
2C7B - DME: Oxygen sensor after catalytic converter: Signal.
2C7C - DME: Oxygen sensor 2 after catalytic converter: Signal.
2CAA - DME: Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter: Temperature
2CAB - DME: Oxygen sensor 2 before catalytic converter: Temperature
Should I reflash?
Hmm. The eca has been on for over a month and been fine. All previous logs have been fine aswell. I put the PR coils on and I used the PnP connectors so it was easy install. I also checked o2 sensors they were fine. I will get some log with voltage and see how it goes.
Went out and did a log. At the end of it, ECA Voltage and Content was not even responding on MHD. I pulled over and turned car off for a couple minutes and started it back up and still was not responding. I then reflashed the tune and they came back. I tried to do another log but was stopped by misfires.. If it isn't one thing, its another.
I am going to try and get some plugs or lower my gap back down and see if I can get back going.

Maybe you have a grounding issue? Check if you have any loose wires in the dme box area. I had a bunch cuz of one the power wires being loose.
Don't think it is a grounding issue. Car worked perfectly fine for months. I hooked up the PR coils and reflash and then problems happen. It might have been that the car just needed reflashed. I will know more once I regap these plugs. 95770 that I have now, I may go to the 2 step colder ones since I am 700hp+ maybe it will be better.
From what your saying, your problems started after you wired in the PR coils. I would recheck all those connections first.
I have some questions about that, because I`m thinking about to install the MHD Flex Fuel Kit.
1. How convenient is that kit in the daily use?
Because here in germany i have to mix the ethanol at home.
Is it possible to go to gas station and refuel some gase in the tank, driving home and add the ethanol?
Or have the mix rougthly be right, besides the sensor?
2. Is it possible to run complitly without ethanol?
For example on holidays, when I can`t mix.
Or is than a map switch necessary?
3. And is any malfunction known?
In consequence, the car did`t run correkt.
Because this video shows some interessting behavior of the sensor.

Wenn Sie das Kit verwenden, ist alles einfach und Sie müssen sich um Nichts zu kümmern. Alles wir automatisch sein.
Convenience is the exact goal! I can fill up with 93, or full e85, or any mix in between, and the tune is tweaked automatically.
Totally able. The closest e85 pump to me is 45 min away. I use 93 most times, and add e85 when i get the chance. No map changes necessary. It does it automatically..
The only issue I've seen or had was with the ethanol content reporting incorrectly when the box isn't connected or grounded properly. Otherwise, it has been problem free. You will enjoy it!

1. Get MHD
2. MHD monitor module
3. MHD v8 maps beta
4. Contact motiv to get instructions on flex fuel software for MHD.
5. Buy kit and install.
6. Flash MHD flex fuel OTS maps (v8)
Done.
If desired, hire a tuner familiar with flex fuel MHD tuning maps and tune custom flex fuel specific to your car for optimal performance. Otherwise OTS maps are good enough.
1.-3. I already have the MHD Beta (Flasher, Monitor, M-Boost and Stage 2+ Map Pack)
The Flex Fuel option and the Ethanol Map Pack i will buy.

I also think the OTS Maps are good enough for the beginning.
