Can anyone tell me what this little plastic disc is for? It was in top of the filter (option 1 filter, the maxipad looking one)that attaches to the pump. Seems to get in the way. I took it off and the filter attached just fine and tight to the pump. Is this needed? Do I need to go back and install it?

Yes you will want to install that.

There is an output on the bottom of the pump that can cause the filter to lose suction if it's not installed.

Could I hack up my bucket somehow to fit this stage 2 bucketless and not have to get the hydramat? Just a thought.

Might have to get his or just go stage 3 or 4. Maxing out my stage 2 but it has been great. Glad there's more options now

Happy to help whenever you are ready.

I've been using the stage 2 bucketless with my Pures & PI kit- it hasn't skipped a beat

Just out of curiosity, how's the reliability of the pump unit itself? I'm FBO on a mild tune, but I'd like to be able to run E-40 eventually and to make sure I'm covered as far as fuel supply.

Our stage 2 bucketless outflows a standard stage 2 with bucket by about 27%.

If you plan to run e40, you will be more than covered. Many are using our bucketless pump, supporting upwards of 600 whp on varying levels of e85.

Yes, I was able to run a 2gal 93 and the rest e85 with a stage 2 and port injection and reach 607whp. Maxing it out now but it was able to reach that
