Here's one from BimmerWorld.
https://www.bimmerworld.com/Gauges-...mmerWorld-Oil-Distribution-Sending-Block.html

I'll be adding the following gauge and sending unit but was going to piece together my own fittings, just haven't got to it yet.

Even though BW states that it will fit on the N54 (along with many other motors), I'm skeptical.

FWIW, I'm looking to add a sensor so I can capture oil pressure on my AiM data acquisition system.

Looking to add an oil pressure sender that could be used together with the stock oil pressure switch. Not much room on the N54 and, so far, the only possibility I've found is this one made by LeatherZ : https://www.leatherz.com/products/n54-n55-oil-distribution-block. And I'm not certain whether it'll do the job.

Any good options out there?

Thanks.

Neil

Similar products are used on other platforms with success, I don't see why it would be an issue here. Just what I saw from a quick google search... "remote oil pressure sensor"

Yea, I'm skeptical too so that's why I was piecing together my own. I'm sure I can source the adapters and tee for less cost.

I'm jealous of the AiM, they're a nice unit. Be nice if MHD allowed for analog inputs.

Of course. And I've added them on several vehicles over the years. But I'd love to find a compact design that will thread into the port on the OFH used by the stock oil pressure switch that will accommodate both that switch AND a sensor for my data acq.

We currently run a remote oil pressure sending unit directly into our Adaptronic to log oil pressure among other things. It's on our list of things to offer. Should not be much longer. We have quite a few new products being announced in the next 2-3 weeks. Just hold tight before buying anything.

you can use one of the ports from the oil thermostat housing

Find something like this in -10AN: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/...4UTmud-_arAO2gPNFV0zEPcsDoqNfQrRoChnUQAvD_BwE

Then you can tap into an existing oil cooler setup since most all of us run aftermarket coolers which utilize -10an fittings.

Or, a Mishimoto 90* M20 to -10AN banjo off the top of the oil thermostat housing and then find a way to step it down to 1/8 NPT for use with an aftermarket oil pressure sensor. https://www.mishimoto.com/banjo-fit...grifUHzYPwrOIi14fDgMl4LNTTX0syqBoCFCkQAvD_BwE

You could even skip all that and use something like this (M20 straight to 1/8 NPT): https://www.glowshiftdirect.com/1-8...k09-Lp-w_6AyhoybUBI6kuWZsh00G_9hoChg4QAvD_BwE

Hood clearance might become an issue but that M20 to 1/8 NPT fitting looks very low profile. You can easily put a 90* 1/8 NPT fitting onto it and clear the hood.
