I've made a new resource category: N54: CAD Files

Creating a resource here will automatically create a thread in the N54 section. Your resource can also have its own description, and even an external purchase/download link. Or you may upload your resource.

Thanks! I'm not an expert at how to organize some this stuff on the forums, but hopefully it's not too fragmented. Here's a link to the sheet metal engine cover design resource: N54 Sheet Metal Engine Cover

Okay. I haven't messed with the resource feature much either so I don't know how to add files or if you can switch from a file less resource or not. Either way we can figure it out.

Yeah, it looks like when I try to edit the resource it doesn't give me the option to go back and add files to it. We can figure it out later and I'll just upload the files in the discussion posts in case it doesn't get fixed by the time I start working on the design.

Check again. I've made a hack to the resource manager so you should be able to add a file now.

Who is working on the metal valve cover ?

Not sure if I'm allowed to say. But lets just say its a billet valve cover and they make them for another very popular turbo engine.

EDIT: And they are beautiful. (And expensive)

Don't know eta yet and am only judging price based on their other products which isn't necessarily a great measuring stick since its quite different. I've invited them to join the forum so let's see.

This is a great idea. Being in oz everything is expensive because shipping blows.
My thoughts...
Fuel pump bracket and fitting. They’re a straight CNC, or print in Nylon.
OFHG delete CNC
The front cover and rotor for the water pump CNC
Thermostat housing CNC
Paddle shifter extensions (push pull not +-)
Tablet mount

I hope to spend more time learning to model. When that happens I've got several projects.
