Hey guys I just installed the Precision Ignition upgrade on my car. I'm super happy with how the car feels now. I was getting crazy misfires before and somewhat of a rough idle but it runs mint now! I'm also working with EMP tuning so I can get the most power out of it.

I made a DIY with some tips on how to install this kit, you can check it out here:

Let me know what you guys think! Thanks

I gotta say I like the PR a little better.. Iike the way they dumbed a very proven coil..
I like the price and I like that it looks like everyone is really rallying g behind them and there should be lots of support for them in the sense of tuning/mhd

Great video bro! Personally, I don't have either. But I will be getting the PR coil kit when I get the funds.

I'd have to see a very large body of work to get past how he came into the N54 scene...

Well. I know he's got a couple dozen grand tied up in 3d printing gear, I think you'll see some things popping up. What is your impression?

I'm interested to see what he cooks up. My impression is that he's a douchebag, but it is admittedly based off of a few posts in a single thread so far.

I'm sure he's talented, I just like to spend my money on products and people that I think are both of high caliber when it comes to totally unnecessary and frivolous things like car parts.

Well you know the internet. Usually you'll get a very narrow view of people depending on how they feel at the moment. Sometimes, you'll see that person on a recurring basis and then there isn't much mystery left :tearsofjoy:

Id love to see more comparing the PR with the BL coil upgrades. I like the idea of the standard, easy to get, R8 coils but the DME controlled standard coils sound more seamless.

I'm sure it's early in the new era of smart ignition coils, but what do you think the lifespan of these coils will be?
and if one for some reason stop functioning, can you just replace one? or you have to buy the whole kit again?

They are expected to last much longer than stock especially at high power, and you can replace them individually. The design has proven to be reliable across multiple platforms, now the n54.

BMW M performance wheel comes with red stripe too. Not sure what year and model you drive but shouldnt be hard finding that wheel for your car.
07 MT. If you have a lead on a red striped one with white stitching I am allllll ears!
