Was this broken already or did the upgrade break it?

No it worked before..Jason addressed the issue earlier in the thread. It's a common issue that was noted with Alpina flashes and the like, so he's working a fix now. Pretty sure he figured it out, but it's lower on the list of priorities. Pretty sure you guys could care less about me paddle shifting and would rather see this thing launching and handling much more than the stock auto can.

Shit...just realized you're on stock fuel???

Stage 2 lpfp on e50 w/ pure meth injection. PI and stage 3 are in the works.

Where did u get line lock?

I'm building the kit myself.

Didn't get the tmap sensor in, so still stuck at 20lbs. Chris made some tweaks to the tune, and upped the boost to 20lbs across all gears. This video is a break boost launch in 1st at 20lbs. Minimal tire slippage and as you can see, the shift was at 7500.

I love the look of it from behind. I think i Need to add rims to my to do list which have a Little less ET, so that i can run such thick tires too :).
Really nice to see, that the Plattform is moving. Nowadays you really do not Need to worry too much about Transmission, when buying an N54, cause every Transmission Option has its updates.

Sorry for the delayed update fellas.

The tune has been revised again. Adjusted fuel down to e40 mix to push 25psi until PI arrives. Turbo and manifold blankets are installed. Engine bay is remarkably cooler, even after a few digs. Sorry, I failed to take before and after temp readings. Engine oil temp stays at a solid 200* when ridden hard and then drops to about 180 while cruising. No issues noted with being that cool, but I'm going to install a 215* tstat to keep the temps up just slightly.

Still learning the intricacies of launching an auto, but let me just say, it's pretty nasty. I do a combination of antilag/brake boost and off the light, it hooks real nice. The trans holds like a boss. I've given probably a dozen different people rides, some of which are familiar with e8x/9x, and some from completely different makes, and most have complimented on how fast/solid the trans shifts, that it feels like constant acceleration. Still at roughly low to mid 500whp, right now. Definitely gaining attention in the local scene and hurting some feelings, even before PI.

Stage 3 lpfp is in the garage awaiting install and the PI should be here Tuesday. Still need to install the stainless brake lines, line lock, engine and trans oil coolers and tstats, and trans mounts. I've got a custom exhaust in the works. That's all I'll say about that for now. I'll post pics/details when it's done.

Probably going to be another busy week and then I'll be out of town the following week for vacation, so I probably won't have an update for a couple more weeks. By then, fueling should be taken care of and the tune dialed in to somewhere in the 700 range. We'll see how Jason's work holds up!

Side note, just to follow up on the paddle shifters not working after the trans swap. I don't recall the exact wizardry that Chris did, but the paddles are working again as advertised. Because science.

Keep it classy folks..

Excellent post! Glad we got that paddle issue straightened out for you. That was bugging the crap out of me. Simple EGS module reset FTW ;)

Glad to see another Beta update. Hopefully the other Beta's can get their cars up and running and give some more feedback. Seems like the transmission is holding up pretty damn solid though. Pretty excited to get some more people on board with this so we can get some transmission getting built and out.

Still confused on posts like this for transmission upgrades. We have multiple customers running 650WHP on stock tranny with alpina flash, a cooler, and good fluid with no problems. The only way you can see if a tranny upgrade is worth its weight in salt is to put a proven 700WHP to it, launch it, and see what it does on the 4-5 shift. Anything else is proving nothing. This whole thing is eerily similar to threads about the LVL 10 "upgrade" posted 3 years ago. So many people "tried" it. Said yes it works great, then people making real power, racing their cars, realized actually it doesn't. The only results that matter are people making big power racing their cars, besides that, its meaningless.

We're simply documenting results along the way. The beta car went from being able to support 450hp to 750-800 in just a few weeks. We should be wrapping up the fuel system here shortly to get the bigger power results. Our real life schedules don't always jive either so we are doing what we can when we can. There is a noticeable difference between a stock low milage tranny and this one even at this level. So yes we are getting one step at a time. We're also not making assumptions on a tranny we don't have yet ;)

The great part of this review is that it shows characteristics of both a FBO car and will show the characteristics of a 750-800 Single turbo car. It will be unlikely that this early that we get to see how it handles both ranges of power. Even better Chris and Jimmie will know the difference since they know how it performed before and after. I can imagine Jimmie cant wait until he gets is fueling installed so he can turn up the boost. Thanks for keeping us updated with the progress guys!

Hey Tony,

I actually disagree with this being anything similar to level 10. I remember that entire process unfold and remember they made no promises on its power. They gave no information. In fact, now that I think about it more, the degree of interaction between level 10 and the community was completely the opposite of what is being shown here. And if you'd wait a couple more weeks, your post may in fact be moot. If you've been following, the one tester which is furthest along is waiting for port injection to arrive and then things will be tested further. Things take time as you of all people can understand and this one needs a couple more weeks and hopefully those concerns of yours will be put at bay.

I think its important to remember that the company building the transmissions is Europeon Transmissions. I've seen no bad information about them, unlike Level 10. This is kind of like trying to compare your local strip mall muffler shop to a nationwide OEM affiliated entity. I say we let this thing incubate a couple weeks and find out ourselves.

This is like the 4th time and forum he has made this same post solely to try and discredit the competition. He's partnered with nizpro and pd will be his biggest competitor. If you want to talk shit do it in your own thread.

Regardless of his affiliation everyone is allowed their opinion if they remain respectful. Some posts may be better suited for their own threads, but I leave that up to the community to determine those things.

Yeah same car. That's a old video RWYB just recently released it. I believe that was only on 20lbs.

How is it doing of a dig? Do you think we are going to start seing better 60' with this tranny or is it something we going to have to wait till they release a higher stall?
