Question about oil in my 525i

I have a 04 525i an just noticed that the oil I added this morning wasn't synthetic, it was 5w-30 just not synthetic, I know whats in it is so im wondering if adding a lil over a half a quart today is going to cause any harm to the point I should drain it and do a complete change?

No you don't have to drain it wouldnt be a bad idea to search voa on both oil types because some add packs can counter each other and hurt film strength and such. But half quart isn't really issue

k will do, yea at most it wasn't much more than a half court, one thing I have noticed since realizing this issue is that it seems as if now somewhere around my oil filter housing is leaking as well as a slight drip when the car is running from under it, im guessing from where the plug is but I haven't been able to go under there to check fully yet. right now my concern is more towards the filter housing leaking from somewhere because I know that before running that half quart I didn't have any oil leaks except for the sligt drip from time to time

I would set oil cap again and check o ring ofhg wouldnt start ti leak because of little dino.
