ok so I just got my K+DCAN cable working as well as ncsdummy/expert, EDIBAS, INPA, & a few other that came with the "Mikes BMW standard tools Easy download/setup for win 10. I was able to hook the car up as well as check the codes, I printed out the code sheet but have no idea how to read it lol, also I am unsure which SGDB file im am supposed to load for my car, of do I not need to worry about that part and just load the profiles there? if anyone has a good guide on how to use these spftwares I would greatly appreciate it.

Don't you have the original link or download? They're almost always labeled with the version.

Use the BMW coding tool to update your daten. It will update all the folders automatically for you making it a brainless and painless procedure. Depending on what version you're using now, the chances that you really need to update them are small if you're on 60.1 or higher.
