Fwiw Turner just released a set of motor mounts which you can choose between two higher durometers 60 or 80 vs the 034 at 45 iirc for those who want firmer. My 034s should be installed next week. Hopefully they do not disappoint. Had I know Turner was going to release the 60 I probably would have gone with that.

Ordered the 034 mounts from ECS. Arriving Thursday and hopefully going in, with E46M trans mounts within a week. Way overdue at 116k.

After approx 750 miles the additional NVH is minimal. At idle it is barely noticeable; clutch in gone. Low rpm, under load there is noise, but hasn't gotten awful. If this is worst of sounds, I can deal w/ it for awhile. Might play w/ fluids to see if there is any room for improvement.

-idle set to 900
-mfactory smfw
-034 engine mounts
-uuc black w/ enforcers trans mounts
-redline fluid

I'm going to try a 700 idle and see how it works out. The urethane passenger mount from the ade kit definitely makes the car shake at stock idle.

Put a bottle of water in your cup holder. There it is a slight vibration. That's the only way I was able to notice it

I will have to give that a try. I did rogue transmission mounts and the UCC SSK w/ DSSR. So while it feels different it feels like it is all from the ssk. I'm not complaining, I didn't want it to feel like a hard solid mount...

No they won't work for an auto. The point of stiffing up a drivetrain is to keep shifts in check. When you torque up the drive line you also mis align shifts

The engine mounts will work though

I'm exploring replacement options for my motor mounts. I'm approaching 100,000 miles and plan on upgrading turbos, dropping the subframe and changing out the oil pan gasket. I figured even though I'm showing no signs of problems, it would be smart to go ahead and change them out.

I'm torn. Some say no NVH increase--some say a little. With a 335is clutch and DMFW, if it meant gaining NVH, I'd rather just replace with OEM. Although the price of the OEM units are not attractive.

Apparently people on FB have posted these engine mounts fall apart after a few thousand miles.
I have them on both side, but the car isn't daily driven.
Anyone else can chime in?

I've got them on for about 3000 miles with MMPs so far. Only running 93 right now, but nearly all of the miles are WOT pulls. No issues so far. Maybe once I start running E85? I'm happy with the 034s right now.

Interesting. I debated this for weeks, but ended up going OEM. Hopefully there will be only a few failures. I'd hate to get in there twice to swap them back to stock anyways.

Well another failed 034 mount to the books. Fairly less than 5,000 miles on them. I’ve used 034 products when I had my VW and didn’t seem to have any issues so I trusted it when I bought these. Definitely disappointed.
Driver side is completely collapsed and the passenger side was on the way out. Passenger side mount had tons of play.

Noticed a really harsh clunk every time I shifted and only to find this. Noise started 2 days ago.

I have a good friend that works at their Warehouse/Parts department. Messaged him today to start getting this addressed and corrected. I’m getting replacements warrantied but it doesn’t guarantee me that it won’t happen again.
