Have you tried fitting the tstat to wp u shaped hose? Doesn't look like it will fit with the compressor outlet clocked how you have it.

Everything is really tight down there but it fits lol. The charge piping curves upwards so there’s room for the water pump hoses underneath

Wow, awesome to see someone building on this!
What did you do to the stock oil/coolant ports?

I got coolant block off and oil feed fittings from burger tuning, and a new coolant pipe with the ports deleted from Doc Race.

@The Convert had a chance to mount the water pump and thermostat today and it just barely fits

Great build, not to rain on your parade but you might want to swap that 4 bar TMAP for a 3.5 bar. Nothing but issues with the 4 bar

Thats already been addressed. Market was flooded with fake sensor's. Burger motorsports now sells authentic ones and if you ever bought a sensor from them with issues they will Swap it out but you need your receipts to show that

Are you going to bring an intake pipe up or just stick a cone down there?
I’d like to bring an intake pipe up, that way I can tap it and use it for the PCV system, but I may just stick a filter on it for now

Thanks, and thanks for the tip. I’ll keep an eye on the sensor and swap it out if they’re any issues

Oh really? I thought the problem was just the 4 bar was trash. @Terry@BMS do you have any more information on this?

That's my only "issue" with some of the stuff on the BMS site tbh. Terry is obviously a smart guy and gives people what they want, and his proprietary products are excellent (the JB systems are phenomenal at what they do, I enjoyed mine for 2+ years) so I don't mean this as a dig at Terry at all, but that's the problem with bringing things to people as dirt cheap as possible.

Having a company as good about things as BMS is gives you a good amount of protection and more QC on products, but with Chinese special's you're likely to get more lemons than normal... And then the item ends up with a shitty reputation. But hey, people ask them for things at a lower price than anyone else and that's what BMS gives them.

Small update, I had to use a modified OEM rear drain tube in the front drain port. The rear tube has a slight rearward curve to it, so it eliminated the return hose kink I was getting. There’s actually a threaded boss on the block that lines up perfectly with the mounting bracket so it all looks factory.

Still waiting on my BoostBox to come in so I can get a tune, and my exhaust guy to finish up my downpipe. Just drove it a few miles to get everything up to temp and check for leaks, so far so good

Forgot to include this in my last post, but I had to use a few washers on the passenger side motor mount to give me a little more clearance between the turbo compressor outlet and the steering rack since I have my outlet pointing downwards

Unfortunately I don’t think there’s enough room for a T3 to T4/V band adapter. You’d have to do some gymnastics to get the downpipe over the motor mount if the turbo was any lower, it’s already very tight as is
