Few more pics it’s just hanging in there everything still loose motor not mounted! So far everything fits nicely! But again nothing really tight yet so we will see what tomorrow brings!!! Enjoy the pic guys and gals...

Btw I did not take out subframe or V-brace install instructions says take out subframe pre-assemble turbo and manifold! To much work lol ;)

Getting closer! It’s a really really tight fit! I thought 2 days at the most (old ones out new ST in) now we are already 20hrs in and still not finished! Well my dumbass had to leave the subframe in which makes it a little harder but oh well almost there! I’ll give a more detailed review when it’s all set and done! I had a few small hiccups which weren’t mentioned in the install instructions but nothing major so far everything fits!

Competent enough to pull the stock turbos and attempt this installation but lazy enough not to just pull the subframe haha. Instructions called for it for a reason I bet...

When you start digging around in the guts of the coolant system, things start to look more like a jigsaw puzzle!

I left my subframe in when I went single and have pulled it all back out two more times since without removing the subframe. I can’t say how it compares, but I don’t think it’s that bad.

Do you have any more pics of that drain? What is that block thing on the bottom of the turbo?
The block is simply a machined piece of aluminum that makes a 90 with a fitting out the side. There is an opening on the top the size of the turbo drain and then on the side is the fitting to hook up the hose. Hopefully he has some better pics but pretty sure he just has ones once installed. I helped with the install so hopefully can answer any questions about that install portion of the kit.

I can without a doubt say DROP THE SUBFRAME FOR THE INSTALL!!

And thanks Blaster 3500 I know we should’ve dropped the subframe, but we wouldn’t have had that much fun without the subframe in place lol

Looking forward to receiving my kit tomorrow! My install may be delayed though as I kind of sprained my knee yesterday! :( A lot of icing in the hopes I can hop around this weekend and do it. lol

Recieved my kit today! Everything looks great. Silicon looks like great quality. Will be starting the install process this weekend. I am still waiting for some stuff to come in (not related to the kit). Ready to get this going!!!

P.s. I'll be dropping the subframe. :tearsofjoy:

That silicone water pipe/pump piece looks nice, that was a really tight fit for my kit so I would this this makes it a lot easier.

I received mine today as well. Plans are to have this installed over the next couple of days. My subframe is already dropped and my custom turbo kit has been removed already, so I am ahead of the game in that aspect.

Initial Review (unboxing):

The quality looks excellent and the packaging well thought out. Really like the way they sealed all necessary hardware with larger components for easy identification.

Instructions are pretty good but could use a bit more information. This is mainly for the lack of photos for dropping and removing turbos, subframe and such, but I can understand why this information was not included as it is available elsewhere.

Also noticed this kit lacks tubing for the wastegate to boost controller and boost reference port. I suspect these items were left out since the kit is focused on the main hardware, turbo, turbo manifold, silicone, oil adapters, and wastegate. This is not really an issue on my behalf but it will have an effect on someone. Another thing that I wasn't aware of until my kit arrived was the O2 sensor clause. Speedtech states that the OEM sensors may not read properly and require specific mapping to work. Does anyone know if MHD has a setting for this or maybe baked into a JB4 backend flash? They also state that the ADV sensor is better suited for this application. Both of these points would be nice to know when ordering the kit so people can prepare for installation instead of hustling last minute.

Overall, I think this kit is very well put together and the above critic is only to provide information so others can prepare. Speedtech really knocked it out the park with this and I expect Power results will be the same.

I sure hope that is the case. Speedtech is pretty clear in their wording that there are some changes required to the O2 correction tables. Maybe someone with experience can chime in on this.
