On my spec 3+ it was actually very smooth once the aging slave cylinder was replaced. This xclutch ceramic twin disk is another story lol

How many miles do you have on the clutch so far?

Just over 500 miles, 2 days after break in mfactory axles said see ya.

currently fighting them on the warranty as they were advertised as lifetime. now magically it's one year.

Dang. It's literally advertised here as lifetime, and transferable.

My clutch(organic) continued to get easier to launch with more miles. Even up to about 2k miles. It feels really good now.

It feels good! I suggest linear throttle mapping tho, because it can be too touchy otherwise. The throttle response is night and day.

still feels too touchy with linear throttle mapping with a smfw if you ask me... need to remove some from the driver torque request table

Has any tried a 'moderate' setting, somewhere in between the stock and modified values?

The original thread has most of the DCT guys doing their own custom half-way stuff because it wasn't working and they posted screenshots of their tables.

Tldr. Wasn't working at all or just wasn't good?

I tested it a lot on DCT and i don´t want to live without it. It is a day and nighttime difference.

It is working great!

I think it is a bit complex topic and just a few people with unlocked maps have also the time to test. Besides me i only know CarAbuser who has tested probably even more than me.

I removed basically 10% from Stock and it was a significant difference. Today i am close to 0 values but you will then have to re-map your throttle pedal i.e. Torque Request maps. This was like 30 revisions until today or more.

With just the 90% version you can leave the "stock" linear throttle from MHD.

These are "moderate" Base values on the last picture. Just try them if you have DCT. And then push the sport button and shift manually :D That´ll be a suprise for ya.

That is really not summarized correctly ;) It is always working but torque request map has to be adjusted as well with values close to zero.

Also my base values presented work as that "moderate" setting.

Do these tables not work for anyone else? I’ve tried a complete flash back to stock and reflash with no luck.

Hey! Cool to see you on here. I have been following the thread on e90post and have been in contact with @WedgePerformance to get this on my DCT tune for my 335is.

He used the XDF definitions from CarAbuser: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showpost.php?p=24755029&postcount=41 and replied to me with an updated flash with the following:
Try this. Updated the two tables like John's post.

The car is... something else. I've been plagued with lethargic performance from my DCT and thought it was a limitation of the transmission or dual turbo setup compared to an NA V8. The car is *TOO* sensitive in first gear but I am now reading that you are using the linear throttle setting; I am using the stock BMW throttle map as it was the only way to make the car 'react' without these tables.

Wedge is pretty busy and I haven't had a chance to go over the settings in depth with him, but it is very promising. I need to give him/Steve some feedback on the car and hopefully come up with a strategy for anyone using Ken's tunes!
