We can just meet at that gas station on Woodward and drive in. I’ve never been to lapeer so that’ll help.

Weren't people having issues with running on a 2wd dyno with xdelete? Depending on where I'm at with some maintenance items I might try to make it out to that.

edit: xhp now recommends letting the clutch cool off between multiple runs on 2wd dynos.

Interesting. Well, it’s only two pulls, I doubt it’ll be much issue. If anything one pull is good enough for me. It’s a basically stock car, not like I need to adjust the tune between runs.

Yeah that rear inlet install is hell, you can always double check it as sometimes it might look like the clamp is well connected but it's not, it happened to me once and the car was acting weird. Did you check your vacuum lines?
What spring do you have? it's better if you can upload a log as that will be more helpful.
Hello sorry I didn't see the email notification.. so I checked all my vacuum lines. I questioned about the spring weight in the tial bov... I actually contacted tial. They said that spring q black series can handle 1800hp.. they told me to manually check the negative boost psi.. I haven't had time to do that. I know in my mhd at idle is pretty consistent at -11.5. I about getting heavier spring. They said that shouldn't affect it.. I mean if I knew I needed a tune..I would have waited to get updated twins and so the inlets at the same time. Let me get in my laptop and I'll upload a log on data zap... Mhd said the ots are not intended for inlets and would need a custom tune.... Thoughts on this.

hey guys, im sorry to thread in here. Iv been having an issue and the last thing that was done was Vrsf inlets...i was having some issues or i thught i was a month or so ago..which i did a log, so i have a baseline to compare it to..

So i have 07 335 manual gearbox, with complete vrsf FBO with vrsf charge pipe and Tial BOV .. Running stage 2+ MHD flex fuel around 40%. Cars been running great the past week i did install on inlets and it was a bitch... To get that rear inlet on that small flange of the turbo was insane.. we got it clamped on there very tight... Anyways... On my way home i was on the high way.. maybe doing 50mph... maybe 4th gear wot to hear the difference and almost felt like surging..... again i tried in mid-high gear, low rpm and felt like surging again... has anyone had this happen.. i am stock turbos... No codes are being thrown... i can upload datazap before and after 3rd gear pulls.. I also contacted tial about maybe changing spring on BOV..

Any thoughts anyone. Thank u
here is a log and will send another https://datazap.me/u/goodfella607/3rd-gear-2k-pull-wot?log=0&data=2-3-13-22

So got back from running the 1/4 mile at 12.02 and 114.97mph. Drew had some great runs too!

My iat's are shit though. I have a 5" ETS IC and it was fine when I first started doing upgrades but I should be in the 475 to 500 HP range and I don't think it is holding up. So what is a good IC that can hold between 500 and 600 HP because I might upgrade the Turbos next year.

Considering almost 4000DA, we should be happy we werent running 13s

Very satisfied with my 12.3 @ 114 in that air.

I still say VRSF Race or PSP 900 for your setup. You know you're going to be pushing it later, get the best you can now.

I like the PSP but it says "not in stock" and the cost is a bit more. I will pay for better quality though. Maybe I will sit on it for a few days. Thanks for the input Drew!

I wouldn't call the psp 'better'unless you just like the fact that the end tanks are fabbed and welded in the US. Still a foreign core. The vrsf was my preference because of the cast endtanks. You can't go wrong with either one though.

How about a clamp to hold TialQ BOVs together while setting the screws after a spring change? Ideally the clamp can be used while the TialQ is still mounted on the charge pipe. The stronger the spring, the harder it is. I just changed my 8psi white spring to a 10psi plain spring yesterday and created an inelegant Rube Goldberg clamping device with a strap wrench and large zipties. It wasn’t pretty, but it worked.

Holds boost pretty good to redline, way better than my car with stock inlets and stock downpipes, but i still think shifting closer to 6k would benefit both your times and trap speeds.

Seems like a decent amount of corrections though, not enough ethanol?

And yeah, those intake temps climbing to 160 at the end of the pass is no bueno. That, timing corrections and your high rpm shifts are definitely killing your top end.

You absolutely flew by me on one pass and then we almost completely evened out at the traps. At one point you had like 6mph on me at the 1/8th and then only 1mph at the top, i need to find the slip.

Okay, now that I flashed the 135 DCT trans to it, I can do a lower RPM launch control in manual and sift when I want.
Should help a lot. Thanks for pointing out the sift points Drew!

Here is our first side by side pass where your 1/8 was flying and then I almost caught up to you at the end. Almost 6mph better than me in the middle and less than 1mph at the top.

A lot left in your car, we just need to get a few things dialed. We fix those and find even marginally better weather and you're in the 11s no issue.

Wow, that is very interesting. I guess I will need to get those shifts down better. I'll try some 5K, 5.5, and 6K shifts.

Side note, just ordered the VRSF Race intercooler.
I would look into the ade or atm intercooler if you didn't pay yet those 2 and the Wagner have always been agreed as top performers in any fmic thread and they should be ok with your stock turbos as well as upgraded.

With how well your boost holds in the higher revs, id say 6k is probably your best spot.

With your 135 trans flash does it still shift out of 2nd at 5200?

Id probably also send that log to bq to see what he thinks about it and the corrections. See if they are just IAT related or what

If you send me a csv of full 3rd gear to redline I can use virtual dyno and it gives the shift points for every gear based on your power band and gearing for what's fastest
