What Load to Torque tables to use with xHP Stage 3?

Actually, that is incorrect. I found out that I actually do not have the MSD81, but rather the MSD80 unit and was logging on a dyno with Twisted Tuning and I maxed out at wheel 677nm. using stage 3xhp. on the PD transmission. All FBO, with inlets. Stock turbos.
What torque parameter you logged? Did you use MHD or Test0? 536nm I'm referring is using Test0 to see the torque values received by trans. Here's a log where you can see the actual torque from DME (I suspect the same value as MHD actual torque) and the "actual" torque seen by transmission maxed at 536nm.

https://datazap.me/u/pekkapalo/testo-9?log=0&data=5-6-10&mark=113

I'm not saying I'm absolutely right with my statement. Those were my experience with few MSD80 compared to couple of MSD81 ECUs we have logged. XHP also confirmed this to me when I emailed them.

Torque actual showed 679nm once on a drive and 474 lbsft. on dyno graph.

I don't have the old mhd but do have the dyno. This is on a Mustang dyno. On dynajet it is way over 500 lbs.ft. (over 670 mn)

Just to be clear. Dyno numbers and mhd actual torque numbers have nothing to do what I have previously posted. Those torque numbers that are sent to TCU just tell the transmission how to operate and if that is maxed out at 536nm so everything above that is handled as if there was only 536nm but like in your case true actual torque is much more and I can't help but think that it must have some effect how the shifting reacts.

Let say you have dynoed 1000nm and the transmission operates as if there was 536nm. Not the best situation.
But if the transmission could see that there is actually 1000nm I'd think xhp stage 3 would work as it's meant to work.
I know that xhp uses max line pressures already after 500nm and that's a good thing, but shifting times etc. can't be calibrated properly without TCU knowing the actual torque after 536mm.

MHD Torque Actual on a drive showed 679Nm. When logging last year.

If you check all values I believe one of them on mhd is a constant of 536 or sonething like that

I am also going to chime in here and say that stg3 XHP on a fully built billet Nizpro trans (even stronger than a PD stg10 trans) behaves sub optimally, shift wise. Basically similar to the PD trans comments. This this was designed to throw the kitchen sink at but, at times feels like its being held back.

Yeah...definitely feels held back. Try asking them for a custom trans tune. Maybe they will help you since they flushed me down the toilet after offering to help.

Currently I am testing their torque limiter option.... next will test torque reduction on shift option. Will take a while to see results but siunds like it defeats the purpose of a powerful trans if you limit the power.

I should just use PD stock flash....and live with slower shift times but ultra smooth shifts.

I honestly kept thinking that makes no sense to use a stage 3 flash for stock trans with an upgraded flash. You should try the alpina flash and see if feels better

Hmmm...here's something new... this morning I was trying to figure out why the hell my car threw a torque limit 4 when it shifted into 2nd gear...when I thought I had zero limiters.

I reflashed mhd pure s2 custom amd and deselect linear throttle, then reflashed xhp s3 with minor adjustment to 1 and 2. And selected stock shift pattern. And just for shits and giggles went to the misc. Menu and reset the tcu. Now the car is super responsive. It feels like all the power from the pure turbos is now available from 1 thru 6.

Its likely the throttle mapping than anything else ...

Here's the thing though... initially I ran the custom tune on normal throttle mapping and it didn't feel like this. Then I changed linear mapping amd was a little better. Now back to stock throttle mapping and it's nothing like the previous time I used stock mapping.

The transmission seems to react waaaay quicker than before. Both take off and acceleration are vastly improved. Almost instant, whereas before the car felt like it was 'lazy' when I took off from stop light. Now it just goes immediately.

I think it's been somewhat known for a while now that linear throttle doesn't work with the xHP flash. No one seems to say what it's supposed to be setup as, I would assume stock?

Really? I had zero clue. Well, guess that takes care of that useless option.
