Curious if I can run these wheels on my stock suspension. Wondering If I would rub at all.

Do you know the offset of the wheels?

Offsets would help. Typically between 30 and 40 you will not have rubbing -- but that depends on tire size as well.

It would be 30 from what I understand and the tire sizes are up there already

+30 offset may rub on dips if a) Soft suspension b) haven't trimmed inner fender
+40 won't rub but will sit sunk in and look like shite

Not sure if Achilles run large but I've run a few diff manufacturers 265's on 19s with a more aggressive offset (+25) but with minimal fender shave and have had zero issues


There are a couple of very easily trimmed off tabs in the rear of e92 fenders that minimize a lot of rubbing
Next time I'm back there I'll snap some pics.

I have forgestars sdc 9.5 front 10 inch rear 23 front 28 rear offset pretty flush had to trim bracket r.g. mentions and roll rear, front needed slight trim on stock camber only random rub In reverse
Currently 235f 265r I upping to 245f 275r and adding little more camber In front.

Fack, only rims that made me question buying mah volks. Good choice and offset

What brand tires?

Tire sizes are random between manufacturers, make sure to share that bit of info in anecdotes

Hankook v12 they run narrow compared to my pss on other rims,I just got nt05s 245/35/19f 275/30/19r that I'm about to mount and see how it fits I am adding camber to the front and dropping a half inch as well

Mounting tires in am i may be fucked my new color i had rims done is insane though so at least i can look out window at car ifi can't drive it. I'll post pics in am.

Well my dumbass doesn't learn i had 235 35 19 f 265 30 19 r. I got nt05 which run wider and got 245 35 19f 275 30 19 r the rear are great. Front i should have gone 30 profile or stuck to 235 but my ocd wouldn't let me

now i rub on fender liners front and back. That i can deal with and fix but i also hit my grate for my oil cooler. Option one try raising front but without going to 7 inch springs i at top of adjustment. Option two drop tire profile option 3 drop width

Last but not least get out the bat wheel and pry bar and start bending shit.

Wow worse part is 235 matches 275 perfect both 25.5 inch i never realized i messed up good this time

Fender liners on rear of my Z4 have nice big slit along the top. Custom fit to the shape of my tire! :grimacing:

You just cut did you fasten or put bracket? I made plastic shims to hold that felt type part of liner cause mine sagged and would clean off my tire wet. Is cutting ok i would think cut it then melt or glue in extension or just removing would be better then having it hold moisture and crap back their

I now realize after reading again you just let the tire rub through i really do have ocd I'd have heart attack lol

Yep... My heart sank when I saw all the debris hanging off where it melted at the track.

It is a good weather only car for me so it might see some water from unavoidable rain but that's it. I'll leave it as is. Out of site, out of mind.

If you rub on back side of lining then you should pull the one screw from bottom of shroud out,then you can pull it forward revealing a joint that's glued together. I had to cut a half inch off so that i could heat up the plastic and gain clearance. But my concern would be damaging the tire depending on how bad you rub. I also tried heating front driver side i pretty much have perfect, passenger side i took out the grate for my oil cooler ground it down and pushed it forward. I still currently rub on passenger front but I'm either going to make a flat cover from louvered metal orv try shave down front and mold plastic more as ib only need quarter inch

I did it i removed the grate zip tied the back of grate to my oil cooler bracket also trimmed grate flush with fins on back and then put back on got a quarter inch clearance. Also i realized it isn't so much the tire but it is the m3 arms which increase dynamic camber and maybe caster to. If you search the original non m sdc fitment was gunda he went with a 18 et on top of everything else and didn't rub until he did m3 arms. I'll post pics later
