Why cant I get both cam sprockets on? ETA: Both are on now.

I am almost done with rebuilding my N54. Nothing special, I just want a reliable engine (with a crank oil seal cover plate).

I cannot get both crank sprockets on. Its either one or the other. The tensioner is slack so I do not understand why there is so much tension in the timing chain.

Any ideas?

Well I got both on. I am still not sure why it was so hard. I followed the instructions from newtis. I had to use one of my 3/8 extensions to get it to line up properly.
