So I had a 2d2e fault code keep popping up and throwing a check engine light, driving me nuts. A few shadow codes as well. After doing all the requisite inter web research I could not find a definitive answer as to what would be causing it. PCV system, throttle body… lots of discussions on various forums with no definitive answer. Well, after much poking around I found a vacuum leak. Fixed the vacuum leak, no more code. Makes sense, could be anything connected to vacuum. PCV, throttle body, vacuum lines, valve cover… Moral of the story, if you’re getting a 2d2e I bet you’ve got a vacuum leak somewhere. I thought I’d share cause when I researched 2d2e I don’t feel like I got anywhere reading the forums.
