Can someone help me to understand JB4 Backend Flash?

I just got JB4 G5 backend flash (MHD)

I read about it from the bimmer post and other area that JB4 controls the boost and MHD controls the timing.

After flashing the ECU, do I need to set up something? or does it automatically changes the timing?

How and what does Backend flash do to my car anyway? I am on Map 5 at the moment.

To utilize the BEF, you must flash a special BEF map otherwise the jb4 + MHD won't work together.

like... I need to download the map from website and put it in the folder ?

You copy it to your phone and then use the MHD to upload it to the DME using the $79 BEF MHD license.
