Ok ... the E89 Z4 has a hanging LPFP in-tank, unlike every other BMW on the planet. This is yet another one of the BMW intern wonders of the Z4.

Anyone know of someone that has figured out how to actually run two LPFP's IN THE TANK (not an external second pump)?

@NoQuarter @BQTuning @Eracer76 @Tuningservice.no @InnovativeAuto @Crazy8 @jts1981 @Twisted Tuning @Keko

This is in context to supporting 600whp DI or possibly PI with E-mix.

For those curious... Z4 LPFP not same as every other BMW on planet. Hanger mounted from inside.

could you fit a 535 lph pump in there as that can easily support 600+ using a single pump of the stock ekp3
I have seen that mentioned, @martymil , and @Crazy8 talked about it on another thread. I've not seen anyone do it. This is the pump with no check valve, I believe, and lower amperage draw. Know anyone running that setup (any N54) at those power levels?

@martymil I've seen a few comments from you in threads. Write anything up anywhere by chance? 535lph Walbro and an inline check valve at external point (e.g. I have an external filter under the car). Z4 has no LPFP sensor. It runs on EPK but runs wide open.

So in theory, it should be 100% plug and play then...

If the demon can do 900hp on e85 using the 525 it shouldn't be a problem to run the 535 at 600hp

I know it doesn't quite work like that but the pump is cheap and it's a matter of just swapping it out.

The 535 is basically plug and play and its the best pump for our cars in my books

VTT gc 2.0 running 26psi

Single 535 pump with inline flapper, flex sensor, external fuel reg with return line.

Car runs around 620 to 630 rwhp when converted from dyno dynamics to dyno jet.

Car runs back to back 128mph down the 1/4 mile.

Cant offer anything else as proof, but I am running only a max of e20
