Would a 700whp E9x crack 200mph in 2.5miles or would you crack the block or worse the car takes off vertically?

Yeah I don't see why not I think a 700whp n54 should be able to do 200 in a mile to mile n half. As long as your control arms are good and have maybe lowering springs or coilovers and tires rated to 186 minimum definitely is possible. Do a gear ratio to mpg calculator and you'll be able to figure out what each given gear ratios top speed is

With a factory 3.08 diff and a 6 speed manual you’d need to rev to 7100 in 6th gear to hit 200. With a 2.56 diff and a 7 speed Dct you’d need to rev to 6750 to hit 200. And for a 3.46 diff and a 6 speed auto you’d need to rev to 6300 in 6th gear to hit 200mph. This is all with 25.5 inch tall tires.

I have a 3.46 and 6 speed auto. I can tell you right now that 6th gear at 6300 rpm will NOT hit 200mph.
I mean, not even driving it off a cliff.
