Actually I've heard about his this bottom mount kit along time ago thru the grape vine. I don't know Jerry personally but I know people he's friendly with and he's mentioned to then that this bottom mount manifold was in the works. As much as I love a good vendor bash, there's nothing to bash here with stealing your design. It might be coincidence that both your manifolds are similar. I mean, how many different ways can you build a manifold?

If you were to remove all the abs, reroute the ac line, ther may actually be more room there than the 3. It's a massive amount of work to move the entire abs with the same engine in, and of course, have a new ac hose make. There is so little room down there, believe it or not, I feel the manifolds give off enough heat to warm your ac in the summer.

You will have to wrap the hot parts pretty good to keep heat down.

Both manifolds are exactly the same. If he would post up a complete kit I would understand but he just quickly slapped some manifolds together and is trying to sell a kit that’s not done or been tested yet. He has no coolant pipe charge pipe or anything. If I had a few customers with this kit on there car there would be photos and I’m sure they would chime in on this thread.

don't use PayPal, credit cards are safer to have a 90 day window for dispute. when I disputed my purchase with Jerry it was fairly painless. "jerrys" business model can be summed up pretty easily. lies, empty promises and deceitfulness. hell the guy doesn't even use his real name to conduct business lol, that pretty much says it all.

Regardless of all the other things, I think an exhaust housing wastegate for a bottom mount turbo is a good idea. And like its been stated previously, this is nowhere close to a new idea in the performance world. Tons of 1000+ HP LS drag cars use welded exhaust housing wastegates. I’m not a huge fan of the log manifold designs in general but I think the wastegate design alone would be a great way to free up a lot of real estate by the head for piping.

Wait...what do you mean by cancelled all your ways to get a refund? How did you pay? And why would he do that?

Ac lines not so much but the ABS would be a huge PIA. But yes once gone lots of room to start playing and does free up the other side of the bay to re-route what was moved.

Sorry, canceled is a broad term and slightly inaccurate. "jerry" closed the bank account associated with the refund he sent me, he uploaded all of the transaction details to eBay in an attempt to move this case outside of their own buyer protection, just like he did with the bogus tracking number that was uploaded as well (this was when i opened the first case)..... and just like he has for every single other person that he has scammed and not sent there kits out immediately.........

He also has been trying to lie about it all day via text. its comical at this point. i was more than patient and was trying to see if the rumors were true.............. EVERY SINGLE RUMOR IS TRUE you might get you kit, you might not, he wont follow up on anything he says, he will try to scam you.

If he was so legit, why does everyone have the exact same issue with his refunds? lol this guy had the audacity to sent me a screenshot showing HE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE MONEY TO REFUND ME like if your gonna send me screen shots of your, might wanna make sure im not a vendor and might wanna make sure i know exactly what the screen you sent me says.

TLDR version:

Dudes a scammer, you might get you stuff, prolly wont, once he has your money your at his whim BE ADVISED AND STAY AWAY i mean the guy doesn't even use his real name lol....[/QUOTE]

100% accurate; as many have documented on various forums. I too rolled the dice on him and had same experience as most. Quoted 3-4 weeks delivery for the top mount kit; empty promises for 17 weeks before I took care of it with the bank (shouldn't have taken me that long). Communication was great until I sent the money, than nothing for weeks. Stay far away!

End thread... anybody dumb enough to send a penny to Candice or whatever account he uses deserves to get scammed.

I guess the real question is why is he/she still allowed to post here?

We take scamming very seriously. Most of these situations have resulted in the customer getting their money back in one way or another. How those disputes are resolved can be tricky to interpret. The only sure fire way to make decisions on this, is someone who simply has not received their goods. If anyone has an outstanding complaint, I'd like to have it posted in our complaints section down at the bottom of the board.

First off no one closed a bank account to prevent money from coming out. I spoke to this guy daily kept updated him every single day on thing's I never took anything off of ebay. How can i scam the guy when there is EBAY PROTECTION! He is assuming this is what happened. If you do not receive anything ebay will automatically give you your money back in favor of the buyer this is exactly what happened EBAY REFUNDED him. He claims to work for ebay he should know this and see what i see on my end. I didn't upload anything to ebay. Ebay will not even let you take the transaction outside of ebay.

Also wouldn't be scamming people and allowing people to come to my shop drop off cars for install, pick up kit's and so on if i was in this to scam.

I think the bigger concern about your statement is that ebay needed to refund one of their members in the first place. Secondly, please tell me where these people are dropping off these cars. I've continually asked for your contact information and have never received it.

No i sent the refund via paypal after he opened a claim. Paypal took the funds from my balance. Which i showed to him. He then asked ebay to step in they issued a refund issue solved.

When have you asked me for my info? I have never spoken to you before that i know of. Shoot me a pm.
